2015 KTM 350 EXC-F, 2015 KTM 350 EXC-F BEST IN CLASS The 350 EXC is the ultimate machine when you want to ride your bike to the offroad trails. Thanks to its compact, powerful DOHC engine, its low weight and its perfectly tuned suspension, this machine masters each and every tough spot in offroad riding with ease. And thanks to its license plate, you can ride the bike right from your house and enjoy the street or the dirt. Features May Include: Frame The EXC s chassis is second to none and for 2015 the bikes will feature the striking Factory orange usually seen only on KTM s race team machines. The modern and lightweight frame design with exceptional quality and performance created with by WP Performance Systems is made of lightweight, high strength chromoly steel sections. Not only does it provide easy handling and precise cornering, but also outstanding stability. Airbox The redesigned airbox offers maximum protection of the air filter against soiling while ensuring maximum airflow for top performance. The new airbox covers are produced in a 2-component process and with new inmould graphics. The left cover's mount and fitment have been improved further to allow an even quicker change of the Twin Air filter which is held more securely with an optimized latch. The filter can still be changed without using tools. In addition, two extra flaps on the cover allow to secure it with bolts if desired. Fueal Tank All fuel tanks are made of lightweight translucent material. The 4-stroke models are fitted with fuel pumps and pressure regulators. The release mechanism of the bayonet filler cap has been optimized so the cap can be opened quicker and easier. Seat The seat has an improved foam core that ensures even higher padding stability. Engine The 350cc 4-stroke engine with a state-of-the-art electronic fuel injection offers a very wide power band and is distinguished by a dynamic but fatigue proof power delivery. Oil Circuit The 350 engine is equipped with two oil pumps. A pressure pump provides reliable lubrication for the crankshaft, piston, counter balance shaft and valve train, while cooling the ignition and lubricating the clutch. A scavenger pump draws oil from the crankcase to lubricate the transmission. This also creates a small vacuum within the crankcase, which increases engine performance. For MY 2015, the oil pump suction screen has new O-rings that increase durability under extreme conditions and over time. DDS Clutch The single-piece basket of the DDS clutch (damped diaphragm steel) is machined from solid high-tensile steel in one piece together with the primary drive gear.
