Features May Include: ENGINEThe new 250 SX-F engine is based on the similar overall design of its predecessor, with some major refinements to make this MX2 power plant more compact and lighter, with the production of improved torque and power across the entire rpm range. Perhaps one of the most impressive benefits of the new design is a weight reduction of 1.1 kg to a total of 26.1 kg, including the incredibly beneficial electric starter. All over the world, in both professional and amateur classes, the 2014 motorsport season was very successful for the 250 SX-F - and the 2015 season promises to be no different. In MY 2015, the feisty 4-stroke hits the scene with further improvements to engine and chassis a performance package that will continue to dominate the MX2 class. Features May Include: Bodywork KTM engineers have focussed on designing the bodywork ergonomically and functionally in such a way that the whole motorcycle is in perfect harmony with the rider down to the very last detail. The front fender is a perfect example of how moulded plastic components can gain maximum stability with a well thought out structure and well-conceived attachment. Seat The ergonomically perfectly designed seat is equipped with a durable foam core, ensuring both adequate comfort and high stability. The fuel pump system used on the 4-stroke motocross models is the same as that used on the 4-stroke enduro models, thereby allowing optional fitting of larger tanks from the PowerParts range or from the enduro models. Handlebar All SX models are equipped with the extremely sturdy, tapered Renthal Fatbar 827 handlebar that features an offset specially designed to meet the demands of motocross. HANDLEBAR All SX models are fitted with the super strong, tapered Renthal Fatbar 827 whose bend is especially well suited for the requirements of motocross. The proven standard KTM mount allows to fix the handlebar in four different positions. A large Renthal crash pad in a classy combination of black and silver, offers effective crash protection for the rider. BRAKES High-Tech Brembo brakes have always been standard equipment on KTM offroad bikes. Combined with the lightweight Wave discs, they are the ultimate solution in braking technology.
