2017 KTM 150 SX, 2017 KTM 150 SX Features may include: IN A CLASS OF ITS OWN With the agility of a 125 and enough muscle to take the fight to the 250cc 4-strokes, this bike punches well above its weight. Its snarling engine sets benchmarks in terms of power and torque, rocketing its state-of-the-art chassis miles ahead of the competition. The top step of the podium does have the unmistakable scent of 2-stroke premix exhaust. FEATHERWEIGHT The main target for the KTM engineers when developing the SX models was a massive weight reduction compared to the previous generation. The result: the current SX models are the slimmest, lightest bikes on the track. AIRBOX The airbox design offers maximum protection of the air filter while ensuring maximum airflow. The large twin-air filter is mounted in a stiff cage, which at the same time holds the system in place. This design is so simple you could still pop a fresh one in with a face full of mud. Without tools. In seconds. FRAME The high-tech, lightweight chrome-moly steel frame is engineered for excellent handling, precise cornering and supreme stability. You can also count on high torsional rigidity and low longitudinal stiffness for better absorption of the energy created by the front and rear suspension sucking up jumps and bumps. In short: more comfort and less rider fatigue. Laterally attached, lightweight engine head stays contribute to a reduced vibration level. The engineers were able to pull off all that, while making the frame two pounds lighter than that of the lightest competitor on the market. In addition, the frame is easier to maintain, easier to work on and supplies more space for the tank and other components. The bike also features an extra-light aluminum subframe, which weighs in at less than 2 pounds. FOOTPEGS Sophisticated ´No Dirt´ footpegs prevent clogging of the footpeg pivot, even when digging in deep ruts. Looking for a higher riding position? Then just mount the footpegs of the MY2017 EXC models, which are 6mm higher than the SX versions. SWINGARM The cast aluminum design offers low weight and a perfect flex behavior. The single-component casting process eliminates any inconsistencies and inherent weak points created by welding. It s better looking as well. FUEL TANK A lightweight polyethylene tank has a capacity of 1.85 gallons. The filler cap has an inside thread, which makes for easy and reliable closure. HANDLEBAR KTM engineers sure know how to handle handlebars. This tapered one, made of high-strength aluminum by NEKEN, is fixed in damped rubber mounts and has two different positions. From 2017 onwards, the lower handlebar clamps are separated, while on the upper side a new bridge-type clamp guarantees more torsional stiffness. It s also easier to replace the ba

This model is a race-ready bike built for closed course enduro racing. With the agility of a 125 and enough muscle to take the fight to the 250 cc 4-Strokes, this bike punches well above its weight. That s why when the going gets tough, the tough get an XC-W. Features may include: WEIGHT REDUCTION The main target for the KTM engineers when developing the XC-W models was a massive weight reduction compared to the previous generation. The result: the current XC-W s are the slimmest, lightest bikes in the enduro segment. SWINGARM This updated design allows for an optimized mounting position of the PDS shock, providing more progressive action. Furthermore, the cast aluminum design guarantees lower weight and a perfect flex behavior. The single-component casting process also eliminates any inconsistencies and weak points. Two threaded inserts in the lower cradle tubes allow for an optional skid plate. FOOTPEGS Sophisticated No Dirt footpegs prevent smudging up the pegs, even when digging in deep ruts. The pegs on the EXC models are 6mm higher than the ones used on SX models, which benefits ground clearance. But you can swap them at will. FRONT SUSPENSION The all-new WP XPlor 48 upside-down fork is a split fork developed by WP in close collaboration with KTM. It is fitted with a spring on both sides but features separated functions for each fork leg: compression damping is fitted on the left side, while rebound is on the right. So the forks can easily be adjusted for compression and rebound with the twist of a dial on the top of the forks. In addition, a longer and sealed hydro-stop guarantees better resistance to bottoming-out. Due to high-quality materials and a state-of-the-art production process, the new XPlor 48 fork - with approx. 300mm of travel - has outstanding response and damping characteristics and is about a half of a pound lighter than its predecessor

2014 KTM 150 XC, At Colorado Springs Location 2014 KTM 150 XC ULTRA-EASY HANDLING The 150 XC is the ultimate cross-country bike for those seeking ultra-easy handling, minimum weight plus low maintenance costs. Features May Include: ENGINE The engine has a redesigned reed valve housing featuring Boyesen high-performance reeds. Thanks to the innovations, performance has been optimised and responsiveness improved. Further optimisations include a new piston grinding pattern and an adjusted carburettor setting. The new developments make the 150 XC even more steadfast. AIR BOX At the same time, the revised design of the airbox guarantees optimum protection of the air filter from dirt plus maximum air throughput for the highest performance. New airbox covers are manufactured in a 2-component process with new in-mould graphics. The fixing for the left cover has been further improved to enable even quicker replacement of the twin-air filter, which is held more securely in place with an optimised clasp. And the filter can still be replaced without any tools. Furthermore, two additional tabs on the cover allow it to be secured with bolts if desired. SUSPENSION/DAMPING The KTM 150 XC has its own individual suspension settings, optimally tuned to weight and engine. The high-quality WP suspension components have been specially designed for enduro use. They ensure maximum traction and plenty of comfort. At the rear, a PDS shock absorber from WP Suspension works with a direct linkage to the upper side of the swingarm. The wide range of setting options for rebound damping and high- and low-speed compression damping are standard on KTM bikes. TRIPLE CLAMPS The lower triple clamp has been modified for optimum attachment of the new front fender. Thanks to its new contour and attachment with two bolts from the front and two from below, the new fender boasts significantly higher stability. SWINGARM The cast aluminium swingarm has been developed with state-of-the-art calculation and simulation software and constructed, in terms of design and wall thickness, for minimum weight with optimum stiffness and precisely defined flexibility. For the 2014 model year, our engineers have revised the chainguide for the benefit of higher functional reliability, while simultaneously reducing the weight. FRAME In its enduro models, KTM relies on frames made from high quality, lightweight, chrome-molybdenum steel profiles. Contrary to the trend for aluminium frames from other manufacturers, we supply the KTM 150 XC 2014 with a high-tech steel frame. Not only is it more stable, but also approx. 0.5 kg lighter than the competition's frames. The frame colour has been changed for the 2014 model year and it makes the styling even more attractive. Moreover, it's easier to maintain and provides more s
