The local KTM store closed up while I was deployed. I like to have a factory shop nearby to get me parts and service, hence why I'm selling her. $13500 out the door. Constructed on a chrome molybdenum steel tubular space frame, the 2015 KTM Super Duke features a host of high-end features meant to provide the full sensation of two-wheeled performance to a relatively light, compact motorcycle weighing 417 pounds. Supported by a WP suspension system, the front of the KTM Super Duke is fitted with a telescopic fork while the rear features a monoshock setup along with a single-sided swingarm. Motorcycle Traction Control with three rider-selectable performance modes maximizes the motion of the 2015 Super Duke’s wheels for specific conditions. Standard anti-lock braking system on the KTM Super Duke delivers surefooted stopping on the road and can be deactivated for race track use. The heart and soul of the 1290 Super Duke R is the powerful V-twin engine under the rider. A 1,301 cc powerplant featuring a Keihin engine management system presents up to 180 horsepower to the rear wheel of the KTM motorcycle. The engine is connected to a six-speed transmission and a slipper clutch that prevents rear wheel chatter under hard braking. Configured for rider ergonomics, a high-tech instrument cluster sourced from VDO provides a combination of an analog tachometer with two LCD displays.
