Kawasaki has unleashed a new muscle bike for the streets. A combination of modern superbike performance and the nostalgia of one of Kawasaki's most famous models from the early 1980s, the all-new ZRX1100 delivers a street ride unlike any other. The ZRX1100's appearance immediately brings back memories of the Z-1R Eddie Lawson Replica with its striking green paint, tubular bridged aluminum alloy swingarm and four-into-one exhaust. And like any respectable hot rod, the big ZX-11 based engine stands naked in all its glory as the ZRX1100 is devoid of engine-hiding bodywork.

This is an extremely low mileage ZRX 1100 which has been in climate controlled storage for the past eight years. This is a very beautiful bike in the black color. I purchased this bike with the intention of riding it, but now need to let it go. The previous owner purchased it new. The bike was dropped one time when he was turning in his driveway. I have repaired the fairing. I never liked the stripe on the fairing since it didn't line up with the one on the tank, so I did not put it back on the fairing. The grips/handles on the tail section have been removed to give a more streamlined appearance. When the bike was stored it had racing fuel in it, so no ethanol gas in the tank. I have cleaned out the tank and installed an inline fuel filter just in case there is still some sediment in the tank. I have a new front tire, changed the oil and filter, sandblasted the headers and repainted with VHT header paint. New exhaust gaskets at the headers and at the muffler. The bike has a Yoshimura RS3 muffler. Drained and refilled the coolant, added a new smoke Zero Gravity windscreen, a new K&N air filter was installed just before it was parked. The rear tire was installed when the bike was parked, the nibs are still on the tire. Because the bike was in a climate controlled building out of the sunlight I did not change the rear tire. I have installed a new Interstate battery. The original owner installed a nitrous system, pressed the button once and decided he really didn't need it. The battery tray was modified to allow the lines and solenoids to be installed. I will include a very nice battery tray from a 1200 in case you want to change it out. If you decide to install nitrous, the modifications are already done. After 8 years of storage I disconnected the fuel line from the tank, put the new battery in, put some new fuel in the line and the bike fired up like it had just been parked overnight. Everything seems to work fine. I will flush and refill the brake and clutch hydraulics this week. Please email with any questions.

2001 Kawasaki ZRX1200R, MUST SEE! REALLY CLEAN WITH PLENTY OF ADD ONS! - The Kawasaki ZRX1200R combines the character and looks of factory Superbikes of the early '80s with modern performance and incredible torque. Adding to the appeal is a great price that made this Kawasaki a Consumers Digest "Best Buy" and provided the most "Bang for the Buck" in Motorcyclist magazine. With its striking green paint, tubular bridged aluminum alloy swingarm and four-into-one exhaust, the ZRX1200R's appearance immediately brings back memories of the KZ1000R Eddie Lawson Replica. The big engine, based on the mighty Kawasaki Ninja ZX-11 powerplant, remains exposed as the ZRX1200R is devoid of engine-hiding bodywork.
2004 Kawasaki ZRX1200R, Priced to Sell. Market Adjusted Pricing. - In the late 1970s and early 1980s, most motorcycle brands built excellent motorcycles that today are often referred to as "standards." They featured friendly ergonomics and the ability to handle a variety of riding styles. But Kawasaki's motorcycles of that era were anything but standard ? the Good Times brand earned a reputation for building fast bikes that won AMA Superbike Championships in the capable hands of young racers like Eddie Lawson. The Kawasaki ZRX1200 carries on the tradition of the standard's style and ergonomics, but with modern performance of 21st century Kawasaki engineering. Horsepower separates the ZRX1200R from the rest of the pack, thanks to an engine tuned with emphasis on low- and mid-range rpm performance. The ZRX1200R engine features electroplated cylinders, which transfer heat much quicker than steel, allowing tighter tolerances to be utilized to generate more power. Pistons with concave domes are found in the lightweight, all-aluminum cylinder block. This translates to a user-friendly street personality and amazing roll-on performance on the highway.
