Bought new in 2015 currently with 2700 miles. It's my daily commuter with a unique color scheme for a Z1000. I replaced all the green parts with Kawasaki factory original painted black parts. Meaning I still have the original green parts if you want to go back. But I preferred the grey and black color mix to grey and green. Installed a full Akrapovic exhaust (headers and exhaust) which cut about 25 LBS off the bike's dual exhaust system. I have had the ecu flashed by Ivan's a very reputable company that fully tunes Kawasaki, Yamaha's. With installation of full exhaust, air filter, block off plates and ecu flash was the best investment I could have ever made as it transformed the bike and how it performs.
