2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 500cc LTD. Great beginners motorcycle, or to use as a low cost, reliable, daily driver. Starts right up, runs smooth. Chrome could use some polish, and there are a few rips in the seat. Listed paint color as black, but it is a metallic and in the sunlight it can appear to be a deep midnight blue. Sips fuel (500cc) No leaks (of course, its a Kawasaki :) Priced lower than others that I have seen online since I need to sell to make some room in my garage. Title is clean and I have the pink slip in hand. Registration is current. Call/text to arrange to view. Will test drive to licensed, experienced riders. It is still summer for a few more weeks and this is a great way to enjoy it!

This is a fantastic bike in like-new condition. ONLY 3,350 MILES! Needs nothing. One of the lowest mileage Vulcan 500s you will ever see, and the last year for this fun cruiser! I bought it from a dealer in Tucson, AZ last year who acquired it from the original owner. It's the perfect beginner/intermediate bike, or works great for anyone wanting a lightweight cruiser that has the look of a much larger bike. Engine is strong, brakes and tires are barely used. The following from "Best Beginner Motorycles" - "The Vulcan 500 is powered is powered by a parallel twin, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine with a 498cc displacement. It is based on the ever popular and bulletproof Kawasaki Ninja 500 engine, so you know that the power delivery is going to be very new-rider friendly. It's also a very warm-blooded motorcycle, so even on those cold mornings you probably won't be reaching for the choke nearly as much as you would if you were riding a Suzuki GS500. This would be a great first motorcycle, especially if you are into cruisers. It rides well on the freeway, and it handles around town like a dream."To make this bike even a better deal, I've personally added lots of great looking and highly useful accessories: (1) Richer idle and main jets from CarbJetKits (108 mains/38 pilots plus 2 shims per carb). This makes a huge difference in starting, idling and during deceleration. (2) KLEEN block-off plates for reed valves. Eliminates most backfiring on deceleration and is required with richer jets and free-flow exhaust. (3) Emgo megaphone mufflers. These 26" long muffler look and sound better than the stock mufflers (which are also included in the sale). If you prefer the stock mufflers they can be installed in just minutes. (4) Ledaut titanium exhaust header wrap. Dresses up the down pipes and helps protect from burns. (5) Bikers Choice mini tachometer. 0-8000 RPM range helps you stay in the best power-band. A very useful accessory. (6) TourMaster Cruiser III slant nylon saddlebags. Great addition that fits perfectly with the shape of the bike. Size is 11"Hx15.5"Wx8"D. Features zipper removel system - can be removed in under a minute. Magnetic tank bag. Size is 9"x7"x5". Great for storing phone, keys, GPS, drink, etc. (7) Wing style foot pegs. Classic looks and fit perfect with the style of the bike (original foot pegs included). (8) FIAMM freeway blaster dull-pitch horns. The dual setup is super loud with a rating of 130dB. This super low-mileage Vulcan is a blast to ride. Easy to handle, quick and with legendary Kawasaki engineering. Only selling it because I've moved to an adventure bike and want just "one more bike." Have free and clear title in hand. California emissions approved. Ride it home today! I can also help you arrange shipping (via Uship - at your expense) if you prefer. Serious buyers only for this serious sale. Cash only, no trades, strange deals, or scams. Thanks for looking; email me at .

A sporty engine in a cruiser? This 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan 500 LTD is one beginner motorcycle that can hang with the big boys. It's rugged styling is outfitted with a decent amount of chrome bits to accent its already classic look. The Vulcan 500 is powered is powered by a parallel twin, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine with a 498cc displacement. The bike little corrosion around the pips where road salt had penetrated the engine lacquer. The Vulcan is a nice bike to ride, it is economical, returning around 70mpg in cruise mode, and a bit less on motorways. The bike has a wide and comfortable seat, for both the rider and pillion.
