Wasn’t really built in a custom shop; it just looks, rides and feels that way! It’s called Custom because this is how riders did it back when they rolled their own: A flat handlebar sits in custom clamps atop distinctive forks that hold a tall, slender custom-looking front wheel. A bobbed (as in shortened) rear fender perches over a fat tire, and cool, clean components fill out the middle — including a rumbling fuel-injected 903 cubic centimeter V-twin exhaling through dual slash-cut exhausts, a low gunfighter-style seat, and forward-mounted footpegs complete its rakish image.

Complete with Street Swagger Inspired by the streets, inspired by history. The Vulcan® 900 Custom and Custom Special Edition both draw from the styling cues from back in the day and modern times. There’s plenty to like about the Custom’s styling profile, from its aggressive flat handlebar to forward footpegs. The stylish cast wheels, including a solid-look rear wheel, give it a distinctive appearance. And the 180-series rear tire is the largest in its class, highlighting its big bike style. And its affordable price tag makes the Custom an even more appealing ride. The Vulcan 900 Custom’s appeal is more than just paint-deep. It has a fuel-injected 903 cc engine that produces exceptional roll-on acceleration rivaling the get-up-and-go of much larger motorcycles – yet it’s wrapped in a nimble chassis that lets it turn and handle like no heavyweight motorcycle can.

The Epitome of Custom Drawing from both current and classic styling influences, the Vulcan® 900 Custom and Custom Special Edition cruisers are a distinctive mix of back-in-the-day style and up-to-date imagery; an aggressive flat handlebar and forward footpegs place the rider in a stylish profile that enhances the overall visual appeal when rolling down Main Street. Stylish cast wheels, including a solid-look rear wheel, complete the classic V-twin look. And the 180-series rear tire, the largest in its class, accentuates its big bike style. But you won’t pay big bike bucks to get this affordable middleweight.
