1996 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 CLASSIC, I am selling my '96 Vulcan as I would like to get a newer bike. This bike has been extremely reliable mechanically as it was my daily driver until the ignition recently went out. A new one from Kawasaki Parts House is $128 (http://www.kawasakipartshouse.com//27/switch-assy-ignition). The only other issue is the fuel petcock will need to be replaced as it is leaking a small amount of fuel when the bike is parked. It is not enough to leave a puddle or anything but wanted to mention it. A new petcock from the same website is $92 (http://www.kawasakipartshouse.com//51023-1260/tap-assy-fuel). The bike has new front and rear brakes (within the last 2 months), new front and rear tires (within the last 3 weeks). I also flushed the brake fluid when changing the brakes and put new fluid in. The bike comes with saddle bags, a bag for the back seat, a backrest, oil and filter for the next change, extra air filter covers and air filter, the front fender which is not on currently as I was going to paint it to match the tank and rear fender. I have an extra speedometer housing with the original Kawasaki lights if you would prefer that one. This is a great bike and gets a lot of looks! I am asking $1,500 OBO as the bike blue books for $1,900. I have taken $400 off for the cost of the petcock and ignition as well as the time to install both and the trouble of having to trailer it home. I would like to sell it as soon as possible as I would like to make my upgrade soon. Texting is the best way to get a hold of me, however email is the next best thing.
