The Prairie 360 4x4 is the new mid-class sport utility ATV leader and is perfect for hunting, farming and adventure enthusiasts. It is powered by an air-cooled SOHC four-stroke single cylinder engine and utilizes the Kawasaki Automatic Power Drive System (KAPS), so no shifting is required once the transmission is placed into high or low range or reverse. Plus, Kawasaki Engine Brake Control (KEBC) uses the engine's compression to help slow the ATV. The Prairie 360 4x4 combines selectable shaft-driven four-wheel drive with Kawasaki's exclusive Variable Front Differential Control, so the rider can decide how much torque to deliver to both front wheels. Stopping power is provided by dual front disc brakes and Kawasaki's exclusive oil-bathed, multi-disc rear brake system. Other features include MacPherson strut front suspension, swingarm rear suspension and cargo racks that can carry 242 pounds. The Prairie 360 4x4 can also tow 1,100 pounds.

2000 Kawasaki Prairie 300 2X4, GREAT FARM ATV - At the heart of the new Prairie 300 is an air-cooled four-stroke, single overhead cam engine based on Kawasaki's highly-developed Bayou ATV. The Bayou engine was selected due to its proven reliability and durability, which is backed up by Kawasaki's warranty claims records during the past several years. Engine performance has been increased with a modified cam profile, altered valve timing, a new ignition curve, increased compression ratio from 8.6:1 to 9.0:1 and a lighter piston. The engine has been tilted forward an additional five degrees to give the Prairie 300 ATV increased ground clearance. And both crankcase halves and the cylinder head are completely new castings. The 2000 Kawasaki Prairie 300 ATV is easy to ride and features superior off-road performance and lightweight handling characteristics, high-quality construction, refined styling and class-leading power and utility.

2005 Kawasaki Prairie 360 4x4, JUST SERVICED - The Kawasaki Prairie 360 4x4 all-terrain vehicle (ATV) borrows its leading-edge four-wheel drive technology from the all-conquering Prairie 700 4x4, providing sportsmen and off-road adventurers with the performance they demand for hunting, fishing and daylong trail rides. In fact, editors at 4-Wheel ATV Action have praised the Prairie 360 4x4 as "a master of challenging trail situations, a great handler at low and high speeds, and a hard worker." Many of the nation's ATV buyers must agree, because the Prairie 360 4x4 ATV is one of Kawasaki's top-selling products in the United States. Power for the Prairie 360 4x4 ATV comes from an air-cooled, single cylinder, four-stroke engine displacing 362cc. The power is then transferred through the Kawasaki Automatic Power-Drive System (KAPS), Kawasaki's continuously variable transmission. With high and low forward gears plus reverse, KAPS enables the engine to operate in its optimal rpm range, giving the rider maximum torque regardless of speed or riding conditions. The Prairie 360 4x4 ATV utilizes dependable shaft drive and gives the rider the added benefit of selectable four-wheel drive operation. At the flip of a switch, the Prairie 360 4x4 rider can engage all four wheels for added traction in adverse riding conditions. The Prairie 360 4x4 utilizes a limited-slip front differential, so steering is light and more precise. When maximum traction is needed, the rider can pull a small lever on the left handlebar to send power to both front wheels. When maximum traction is no longer needed, the rider simply releases the lever?the system is simple and effective. Stopping power for the Prairie 360 4x4 is provided by dual front disc brakes and Kawasaki's exclusive sealed, oil-bathed, multi-disc rear brake system. For added stopping power, the Prairie 360 4x4 features Kawasaki Engine Brake Control (K-EBC). K-EBC uses engine compression to help slow the ATV in technical maneuvers such as crawling at low speeds over rocks or descending steep downgrades. The Prairie 360 4x4 ATV rides on supple MacPherson strut front suspension with 6.7 inches of travel, while rear suspension duties are handled by a sporty, single-shock aluminum swingarm with 7.1 inches of travel. It also features a large, comfortable saddle and full-sized floor boards with adjustable footpegs for maximum comfort. Plus, steel front and rear cargo racks can carry a combined weight of 242 pounds. Other conveniences include powerful dual halogen headlights, and a hitch bracket is standard, so the Prairie 360 4x4 can tow 1,100 pounds ? the highest weight load in its class. As with all off-highway vehicle recreation, Kawasaki encourages ATV riders to ride responsibly and to respect the environment. Kawasaki will pay first-time buyers of a new Kawasaki ATV $100 for completing
