2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Nomad, Ride is style!!! The Kawasaki VN1600 Classic Nomad is fully dressed with Color matched bags, and a Fuel injected v-Twin engine. The Nomad 1600 is a motorcycle with a lot of street smarts, from the low seat height to easy to operate controls. It oozes torque from the big-bore V-twin engine as soon as you fire it up. Do not let the retro look fool you, the bike is loaded with modern technology such as electronic fuel injection for awesome power and clean emissions, modern geometrics and suspension units are utilised to offer a well balanced and smooth handling package. To retain the Classic looks, the instruments are kept simple and are tank mounted to keep the headstock area nicely uncluttered. In fact the machine as a whole has been designed to give the classic look, sound, style and feel. The Kawasaki VN1600 Nomad should really be viewed as the Rolls Royce of the motorcycle world.It pulls like a locomotive from low in the rev range and with the supple front and rear suspension, you can ride this bike all day in total comfort. Lots of gutsy, low down performance with smooth touring speeds at the top end mean relaxed, joyful and easy riding.-- Kawasaki's Vulcan 1500 Nomad is a study in excess. Excessive torque, that is. But then, Kawasaki has never been one to be out-done in the power department. Remember the 750-H2 triple? The original Z-1? How about the Ninja 900 or the ZX-10 and ZX-11? Memorable bikes, all of them. Kawasaki's largest entry in the cruiser class has got to be considered among them. It is, after all, the reigning King of Torque. The long wheelbase allows for plenty of passenger room, and our resident pillion tester reported the thickly-padded seat to be among the most comfortable in the cruiser class.
