Hi Cycletraders, selling my 2006 Kawasaki ZX-6R 636 edition converted to a street fighter/cafe racer. Has a little over 9300 miles and runs great. Most of the fuses and relays in the tail have been moved to the front of the bike. She runs great, starts every time. Good treat on the tires. Couple things to complete (turn signals attached, but not wired in), FI light blinks because of exhaust butterfly valve removal, but I would ride her anywhere. Gets a lot of attention at bars and meets, intentionally looks somewhat unfinished like the bikes in Mad Max.Had a couple people ask would this be a good starter bike? Depends on if you can keep it in your pants. Because it's a converted supersport, it revs up to about 16K. The first 8000 rpm or so are relatively mild, but feels like nitrous kicks in at around 8000. If you're not prepared for it the front wheel will leave the ground (and I weigh 230 pounds). I actually prefer the tall gearing on supersports (you can go up to 80MPH in first gear) and found the Ninja 300 annoying to constantly shift (which I sold after 4 weeks of riding). If you take your time and give the engine the respect it needs, this can be a good starter. Ye be warned! No paypal, shipping, or any of that silliness. Cash and carry, as-is, clean title.
