This is a great bike to have in the Bay Area. It's narrow, quick, light, and nimble, which makes getting through traffic and finding parking a breeze. It has plenty of power for the freeway (I commuted from SF to Sunnyvale on it for a while) and is a blast to ride. It needs a new chain and oil change, and it has been dropped a couple times, so there are a few scrapes, and a piece of faring missing. But if you're learning to ride or parking on the street, it's good to have those first scrapes out of the way anyhow. The engine runs strong, and I just trickle-charged the battery to full. I have a 2004 Ninja 500r with 17k miles on it. I am a second owner and its in really good condition. Clean title. Installed brand new battery few months back. Also did full tune up with oil change, coolant replacement, chain tightening and it's in perfectly running condition. I don't get chance to ride it much now a days and hence want to make some room in garage. Comes with custom gray seat instead of factory black. Only blemish I would say is one sidelight which was broken by previous owner. Light is working fine so it never bothered me so i didn't get it fixed. It's in great condition for the age otherwise. Always kept in garage and under covers. I have few accessories as well that I can let go for 100$. They are as follows: One brand new helmet just worn couple of times. One medium riding jacket One pair of medium kevlar riding glows. Battery tender charger Bike cover. This is a great starter bike with enough power and great handling. Great for commuting as well as it gives well over 50 mpg. Only serious buyers with valid motorcycle licence will be allowed to test ride. I was looking for around $2300 for bike and 100$ for accessories if you want to purchase them separately. Real nice shape for an '89 EX500 Ninja, the photos say it all! It handles great, and it's compact size makes it good for someone who is not so tall. Recent tune-up, clutch and charging system. New back tire, rear brakes, chain & sprockets in the last year. Road ready & looking for a new home. Hate to see it go, but must sell... need more garage space!! $2650 OBO.

I’m selling a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 500, also known as EX500. This is a great bike for a beginner, someone looking for a commuter, or even an experienced rider who just wants something kinda of mid-range powered - low maintenance and high fun! Named a “Best Used Bike” by Cycle World. Only two owners with less than 5500 miles (mostly commute miles in the bay area). The bike was garaged and covered 2014 and 2015. She runs great, is clean overall, keeps up fine on freeway with plenty of overtaking power, and starts on first crank. Previous owner dropped it in his driveway and one side has some minor scrapes on the body work (See Pictures). There is a crack in the front wheel cowl from a hit and run while the bike was parked. New cowls are $40-70 on Ebay but I didn’t replace it as it doesn’t affect safety or performance at all. I just put a piece of tape over it which you can see evidence of in the picture, the tape residue will easily come off. Clean title, no penalties or issues. Insurance is very cheap for this bike, only $100/year with Progressive. Tags are good through June 2017.Priced for quick sell. First $2180 takes it home. Thanks for taking a look at my ad!
