I got the bike from a friend had been in storage, so I had the oil changed carbs cleaned and a new battery installed. Don't know the history of the bike as you can see it doesn't have many miles. It does have a salvage title . The bike new was $4200. I work in the body shop industry and see cars every day total or become salvage title. This dose not take much as far this bike if it was dropped the parts and labor add up fast it doesn't take major damage to total a bike or a vehicle. I've taken this in to consideration with the pricing. Thanks for the interest let me know if you would like to see it.

The 'R' Designation Equals More Race Winning Power and More Refinement for the Ultimate Open-Class SportbikeIt's gotta be ugly competing against the ZX™-14 year after year. When it arrived on the big-bore sportbike stage in 2006, the big Ninja® blew everyone's minds – owners, journalists and competitors – with its incredible thrust, sport-tourer comfort, agile handling and aerodynamic full-coverage bodywork. Continuous refinement has kept the 14 a step ahead of the competition, all while filling enthusiasts' face shields with wild, ear-to-ear grins.Fortunately for Kawasaki fans (and unfortunately for the competition), there's no let up for 2012. Not only is the newly R-designated Ninja ZX-14R massively more powerful, it's also almost entirely new, with more of the character, design excellence, and finesse you've come to expect from Team Green™ – the company that's been building legendary open-class motorcycles for more than 40 years.

2005 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, Yep, really. 384.6 miles to be precise. My wife learned to ride on this bike, but decided that while she loved riding in the mountains, she didn't like riding in the city and SoCal is mostly city. It's been sitting in the garage for years and I'm finally going to pull the trigger and let it go. The bike is in very good condition with only a few issues from parking lot tip overs on both sides. The photos show all the damage, but here's what I see: Turn signals are scuffed, muffler are barely visibly scuffed, one spot on the fairing upper is scuffed. These were from no speed, can't hold the bike up tip overs. Other than that the bike has never been down. Right now the bike does not run. It will turn over and start with ether, but the carbs need to be cleaned and the tank has rust that needs to be cleaned out--the tank has Seafoam, but the lock on the tank is stuck. I will drill it out if it's important to you to see inside the tank. Make me a reasonable offer or ask questions. No, I won't answer the "what's your lowest price" question. Right now on Cycle Trader there are bikes listed from as low as $1800 to as high as $3000. If I can't get a reasonable price, I'll fix it up myself and sell it for full-pop. $1,400.00
