The first year for the Grand Daddy of all modern Super Bikes! The first production motorcycle to have ram air, and the first to top 170MPH! This 2-owner, fastidiously maintained 170MPH+ rocket is set up for sport touring, and will not disappoint. The bike has Just over 13,000 miles and has never suffered from just sitting, but also never used as a daily rider. It has never been down, nothing. Note--over Labor Day I rode if from Columbus to Galax, Va and back. Got 45MPG and had a blast. While not complete for sure, here is the greatest hits: --About three years ago at Lancaster Cycle: Replaced front forks with Progressive Springs and a little heavier fork oil. All fluids were flushed and changed, valves were adjusted, K&N filters along with the carb cleaning and re-jetting were installed and front brake pads were installed. --Less than 1,500 miles ago 6/6/15) I installed a set of Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT's--these are the best sport touring tire money can buy. At the same time I also had the oil and filter changed. --August of 2016--Oil and filter change, oil leak/seal repaired/replaced, new gel battery and inspection at Wymer's Cycle. The best five upgrades done to the bike were in the spirit of Sport Touring: the dark tinted windshield with Laminar Lip, mirror extenders, a Corbin Seat (gunfighter with lady), Throttle Meister Cruise Control, and the SWEET LSL bar to give the bike the best of both worlds--sitting up or crouching down. I also installed smoked lenses, replacing the very dated amber lenses. I installed a Renntec rear rack and I removed to awful pink/purple Ninja decals/stickers. I have an HID headlight conversion kit waiting to be installed. The bike is not perfect, but might be 90-95%. There are no dings, no rust, no scrapes, no missing pieces, no squeaks, no rattles, no oil spots on the floor, no smoke from the exhaust, no starting, idling, running, accelerating, braking or turning issues. There are a few very small scratches on the rear tail of the bike near the rack. There is one small chip on the rear grab handle. There is also some very fine ghosting on the right mirror. Beyond that I actually cannot think of anything else regarding the condition. It is a true two-owner loved, garage kept bike. This owner has always run an Ethanol equalizer with each tank, and quick shined the bike after every ride.
