The new Mule 520 is a cost-effective utility vehicle designed for work on smooth surfaces and is based on the popular 550. Larger than a full-sized ATV but smaller than a compact pickup truck, the new Mule 520 features long-lasting tires designed to provide excellent grip on smooth surfaces such as turf or tarmac. Its 882-pound vehicle capacity allows the 520 to carry over 350 pounds in the 36.8 x 43.3 x 9.8-inch tilting cargo bed. An additional 900-pound towing capacity can be utilized when it is equipped with an optional trailer hitch. Its compact overall dimensions of 50.9 x 103 inches and dry weight of just 781 pounds allow it to be hauled in the cargo bed of a full-sized pickup truck.Powering the Mule 520 is Kawasaki's durable 286cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke industrial engine that features an internal balancer to reduce vibration. The air intake is located high in the cab frame to draw air from the cleanest, driest and coolest place on the MULE for strong performance and less maintenance.
