I'm looking to sell my sport touring 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 1000. I purchased the bike brand new as a leftover model in July of 2014 from Paulson's Kawasaki in Lacey, WA. The motorcycle is stock with the exception of aftermarket brake/clutch levers and a black windscreen. I had an upholsterer add cushion to both the rider and passenger seats for more distance comfort, but the seat pans, original padding, and covers remain stock. I also have the Givi hard bags and luggage rack which are oem from the dealer ($1300 for the set new!), a Corbin 2.0 tankbag, and a rear stand which will be included at asking price! She has good tread on a set of Pirelli Angel GT's with about 2500 miles on them.I purchased an extended 5 year warranty from the dealer at purchase which means she has been covered and would continue to be until July of 2019, although I am not sure if this is transferable. She has been well maintained and everything but chain lube (every 500 miles) has been documented with date and mileage. I have never had an issue with the bike and my maintenance record consists of oil changes and an annual trip to the dealer for a complete checkup and lube. I have the clean/clear title in my name and ready to be signed over.I love this bike but I find more interest riding with friends. I have a good group of friends that want to dual sport and none that seem to be interested in sport touring so I have gone a different route and purchased a DRZ-400. If I was a single man, I would have both (and probably a few more) but I am married with kids and am told 2 bikes is too many. Feel free to call or text at 2five3 4nine5 7six85 with any questions. I am not interested in low ball offers but may be interested in a partial trade for another dual sport (trying to get more friends on bikes...but must be for a good value!) I work rotating shifts and will not be offended by texts any hour of the day, just don't always expect one back right away. Thanks for looking! Thomas
Recently rebuilt the bottom end with all new bearings, new transmission and a rebuilt crank. The cylinder was also resleeved and ported and polished with a brand new piston. Oversized dry break ready IMS tank, hand guards, full grip Enjoy MFG seat, two sets of custom number plate backgrounds, 90% rear GeoMax MX 52 with a Michelin Bib Mousse foam insert, 85% Geomax MX 52 front, spare set of brand new front brake pads, full FMF system with a turbine core spark arrestor silencer, professionally rebuilt shock with all new linkage and swingarm bearings, 2 air filters, comes with stock gas tank as well, green radiator hoses, Boyesen Racing Clutch cover, Kawasaki Service manual. Cons: It has no title, but a clean WSP-checked VIN. Being 220 lbs, a 125 is simply too small for me. Selling for a bigger bike. Interested in possibly trading for a 250/300/360/380 2 stroke.
