1994 Kawaski KZ1000p Police Motorcycle. Miles 22696. I've owned this bike for around three years and was told it came from the Longmont Colorado police dept. All the police gear was removed by the police dept before they sold it. I installed the amber lights and they do work, just not flash. It runs great and since I've owned it, I rebuilt all the carbs with new floats and needle & seats. Synchronized the carbs and it idles perfect. Change oil every year and ran non-ethanol premium fuel in it. No problems and it runs down the road great. I put on a new windshield on with all new white plastic bolts. Installed a new speedo cable and a new hand grip on the left side. I have a new one for the right side, but never installed it. This year I installed a new and correct battery. Always used a automatic trickle battery charger and stored it inside. It apperas to have the original run flat tires on it also. The crash bars on it do have scratches on all of them since this was a active police bike. There is damage on the left side of the fairing (seen in photos). Also has a dent in the fuel tank, top black part (see photo #0019 or the 6th image). Also shown it that image is the minor tear in the lower part of the seat. Not too crazy about selling it, but have to thin out the toys.
