Black 2012 Kawasaki ZG1400 Concours. Only 9225 miles. Runs great but does have a few minor scratches. Never been wrecked. No aftermarket modifications. This is a really fun sport touring bike, very responsive and low mileage. Hard case saddle bags included though not in photos. Selling only because of medical condition and looking to get on to a cruiser that's a little more forgiving on our aging bodies. KBB retail value is $9000. Call or text with questions. If interested in a test ride, please make sure you have your motorcycle license on hand and that you're comfortable with that much power. It's a lot of bike and not for beginners. That's part of why it's so much fun to ride.

I purchased this as a brand-new leftover in 2004 from Powersports East (Bear, Delaware), where the service folks recently told me this is the best-running, best-maintained ZR-7S they know of. Needs absolutely nothing; I'd jump on and ride cross-country without a worry. Regular 3,000 mile oil changes with Repsol semi-synth. This bike has served me well for commuting, weekend back-road exploring, and occasional week-long touring throughout the north east US. Don't fear the 67,000 miles: it means the bike was ridden frequently, and year-round. There are plenty of low-mileage bikes for sale out there that have sat around too much, with carbs getting gummed up, fuel tanks rusting inside, electrical contacts corroding, and charging systems going bad.I'm an ex-USAF jet fighter mechanic so I'm big on preventative maintenance. I replace items before they wear out, fail or get corroded or sun faded, such as the cables, seat, rear shock, fork seals, cush-drive, mirrors, footpegs, turn signal mounts, fuel lines, hardware and lots more. Nearly new tires, brakes, and front master cylinder. Recent valve adjustment. Plenty of life left in chain, sprockets and clutch. All work has been done by either Powersports East or me.Tasteful and useful sport-touring modifications, such as a larger, tinted Zero Gravity windscreen, Givi racks and E-21 side cases (will fit any Givi Monokey series of cases), Givi Monolock E-350 top case and mount that goes with bike but not currently installed, Garmin GPS on RAM cradle, Formotion clock, Fiamm horn, Fenda Extenda, spot mirrors, Gafler stainless steel braided front brake lines, Progressive fork springs and custom PVC preloaders, upgraded headlight bulb, BMW Sport Grips, Battery Tender pigtail, extra RAM ball mount on throttle side, and fuel gauge modified for increased accuracy. The PAIR (exhaust air-injection) system has been removed for smoother running; otherwise, the engine, carbs, and exhaust are bone stock. Full maintenance/service/modifications log and all original sales paperwork goes to the buyer, along with the factory service manual (complete with notes and greasy fingerprints), Fuel-brand end can/muffler (English import) that was used for less then 1,000 miles, sheepskin butt pad, a tank bag or two, a bunch of misc. hardware/spare parts, original seat, spare headlight and gauge bulbs, Kisan Tailblazers, unused OEM fork springs, and maybe some other stuff I'll find hiding in the garage. Always garaged at home and at work. Never down, not even a parking lot tip-over. Tags good until March 2018! Has been reliable as a rock, lots of fun, and I'll miss it greatly, but I bought a new bike a few months ago and need to free up space in my small garage, so someone is going to get to steal this. Not interested in trades unless you've got a mountain bike of equal value. Willing to delete some of the extras to lower the price.

Needs absolutely nothing; I'd jump on and ride cross-country without a worry. Regular 3,000 mile oil changes with Repsol semi-synth. This bike has served me well for commuting, weekend back-road exploring, and occasional week-long touring throughout the north east US. Don't fear the 67,000 miles: it means the bike was ridden frequently, and year-round, so no carbs getting gummed up, fuel tank rusting inside, electrical contacts corroding, or charging systems going bad you'll find on garage queens. I'm an ex-USAF jet fighter mechanic so I'm big on preventative maintenance. I replace items before they wear out, fail or get corroded or sun faded, such as the cables, seat, rear shock, fork seals, cush-drive, mirrors, footpegs, turn signal mounts, fuel lines, hardware and lots more. Price is negotiable, particularly this time of year, so make a reasonable offer: I just may take it. Open to trade offers other than cars/trucks/motorcycles. Thanks for looking!

I absolutely love this bike. It's been a lot of fun but my riding habits are changing. It's got a few scratches from being dropped once but other than that, she is in great running condition. Hard case saddle bags are not in the photos but they come with it and have no damage. Only 9100 miles and ready for a lot more whether it's in the area or heading out on the open road for some quality touring.
