2004 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R 636 Clean title in hand, motor runs strong with just under 22k miles. Bike was dropped by previous owner, then parked and left to endure a lonely life in some garage in the high desert. ...But I brought her back to life for you to enjoy! After the grit and grime was washed off, she got steering stem bearings, rear swingarm bearings, shock mounts, and wheel bearings serviced. Also replaced damaged wiring harnesses, fuel tank, headlight cowl & stay, front brake reservoir, handle switch, windscreen, generator cover, footrests, LED turn signals (with proper relay), air filter, spark plugs, battery, and mirror. Rebuilt brakes & bled with Motul RBF600. Flushed the radiator, added fresh coolant, and now it's running full synthetic 15W50 engine oil through a factory Kawi filter. Then, valve clearances were inspected and it got a new valve cover gasket before it was buttoned back up and the throttle bodies balanced. Finally, it's running a new 520 x-ring chain.Make no mistake, this bike has been dropped in it's previous life and the cosmetics aren't 100%. This is NOT some museum-grade concours d'elegance collectors piece. The Yoshimura muffler was cut down by the previous owner, and it's a little loud for my tastes. The factory cowling has been repaired where possible but the front is an aftermarket replacement, so understand there are details that aren't perfect. The bodywork has been shot with gray Plasti-Dip and trimmed with carbon-look 3M 1080 vinyl, so if you don't like the color it's easy enough to just peel it off and spray your own. Or if you're brave enough to order one of those eBay race-replica fairing kits from Hong Kong, you can go that route too.It's under non-op registration (no back fees due), so I can't offer test rides on the street. Registration sticker fee is under $100 but my resuscitation budget is used up.$2700 cash, or trade for Yamaha or Ducati street bike.
