For sale is my 1989 KLR 685 completely rebuilt for dual sport riding/touring. Within the last 1000 miles, the entire engine was rebuilt. Crankcase was split, crankshaft replaced, Eagle Mike doohickey (with torsion spring) installed, all crankcase bearings inspected and cleaned, new timing/balancer chains, upgraded balancer sprockets to post-1996 version (better quality, no springs to break), Thermobob 2 (cooling bypass) installed, Eagle Mike 685 kit installed with cylinder boring done by him, cylinder head refreshed (new valve seals, cleanup, valve seats recut) by Eagle Mike.
