2016 KLX 110L. Bike is in show room condition. Bought new in July of 2016. Has less than 5 hours on it. First service was done just before we put it up for winter. Used it to teach my daughter to ride a clutch bike, now she's moved on to a larger bike. I have the title in hand. Would consider a trade toward a 125 or 250 two stroke MX bike.

When it comes to two-wheeled competition, few fare well against the Kawasaki KX250 motocross bike. Just ask this year’s American Motorcycle Association (AMA) Supercross Champion Ricky Carmichael, who also snagged 13 SX wins in a row–a feat previously only achieved by former SX champ Jeremy McGrath. Aboard Kawasaki’s KX250, Carmichael also won the AMA National Motocross Championship, the U.S. Open of Supercross and he was a member of the U.S.’s winning MX Des Nations team. In spite of such success, Kawasaki continues to fine-tune its winning motocrosser. This explains why the 2002 model incorporates a full complement of engine modifications and chassis alterations.

Engine 1552cc cc

With the sleek lines of a low “stretched” chassis and muscled-out V-twin engine, the Kawasaki Vulcan® 1600 Classic cruiser makes weekend rides into the countryside too inviting to resist. The temptation begins with a liquid-cooled 1,552cc V-twin engine tuned for low- and mid-range power. V-twin its large 1,552cc engine. Each of the big cylinders features a single overhead cam actuating four valves, and hydraulic lash adjusters automatically maintain valve clearance for smooth engine performance, reduced valve clatter and no maintenance. Plus, automatic chain tensioners keep cam timing accurate and provide greater reliability. A digital fuel injection system with 36mm throttle bodies feeds the engine to deliver responsive power at all engine speeds and helps reduce exhaust emissions. The Vulcan 1600 Classic’s hydraulically actuated clutch provides smooth, progressive torque to the five-speed transmission and quiet shaft drive for great around-town acceleration and relaxed highway cruising. Checking the engine's oil level and performing regularly scheduled maintenance requires minimal effort due to the simple, yet sleek design of the right-side crankcase and clutch cover. A gear-driven counter balancer and rubber engine mounts reduce handlebar and floorboard vibration for smoother acceleration. Dual alternators provides enough output to power electrical accessories. To match the 1600 Classic’s sleek lines, the chamberless dual mufflers are slash-cut for major style points and also feature catalyzers to meet emissions regulations. The chassis features a single backbone frame, which utilizes two 40 x 40mm square cross-section tubes. This design permits the use of a larger fuel tank and a detachable right-side downtube allows the engine to be removed more easily. A large, 43mm telescopic fork provides rigidity for superb steering feel and excellent ride quality, while dual rear shocks deliver exceptional comfort for long days in the saddle. Dish-case wheels allow the use of large tires and wide fenders to give the 1600 Classic its tough look. The front wheel also features a large diameter 300mm dual disc brakes and, combined with a single 300mm disc brake on the rear, delivers impressive stopping power. The design details that make the 1600 Classic a one-of-a-kind American classic include a stainless steel handlebar, stepped seat, side covers that proudly display the Kawasaki logo and a multi-reflector headlight. Features of the integrated instrument cluster include an LCD screen, tank-mounted ignition switch, fuel-injection warning lamp, fuel gauge, odometer, tripmeter and clock. Fold-up floorboards look great and improve rider comfort.

LOW SEAT HEIGHT AND FRIENDLY POWERBAND The Kawasaki Vulcan® 500 LTD is a great, first-time buyer’s bike for those who want to enter the cruiser lifestyle, because its low seat height, friendly powerband and affordability make it easy to develop those all-important riding skills. The Vulcan 500 LTD gets its power from a 498cc parallel-twin, based on the same engine that powers the Ninja® 500R sportbike. Liquid cooling helps this cruiser maintain consistent operating temperatures for longer engine life and sustained power. The engine has also been tuned to deliver power as suited to boulevard cruising as it is to more spirited riding. The six-speed transmission, complete with Kawasaki’s exclusive Positive Neutral Finder, allows riders to use the engine to its full potential. Equally user-friendly is the chassis, which has a long and low steel frame that contributes to the 500 LTD’s classic cruiser looks, and with a saddle that’s just 28 inches from the ground, it puts just about any size rider at ease. As for style, the Vulcan 500 LTD’s nod to the custom crowd includes a stepped seat, bobbed rear fender, tank-mounted speedometer and chrome-plated wire-spoke wheels. The Kawasaki Eliminator® 125 is an excellent first bike for beginning motorcycle riders. With its lightweight chassis, easy-to-use four-stroke engine and low seat height, it inspires confidence and helps new riders hone their riding skills. It’s also easy on the bank account, so quick-learners can plan their move up to a larger-displacement Kawasaki. The Eliminator 125 motorcycle is powered by an air-cooled, 125cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine specially tuned for low- and mid-range torque, making it perfect for around-town riding. The electric starter makes getting under way easy and a convenient five-speed transmission allows the rider to use the engine’s full potential. The engine is mounted in a high-tensile steel, double-cradle frame, while 33mm forks and a steel swingarm with twin, five-way preload-adjustable shocks provide a smooth, comfortable ride. A single, front disc brake provides ample stopping power for this small cruiser, and chrome-plated wire spoke wheels are featured at both ends. Available in black for 2005, the Eliminator 125’s styling features include a stepped seat with laid-back riding comfort for two, a stretched, 3.4-gallon fuel tank, straight-flow exhaust and chrome-plated single headlight.

2008 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14, Loaded! - KAWASAKI?S FORMIDABLE FLAGSHIP, THE 2008 NINJA ZX-14 FINE-TUNED FOR EXTRA FIREPOWER Every champion knows sustained dominance is only possible with constant improvement. Such is the case with Kawasaki?s Ninja ZX-14. Since its debut in March of 2006, this motorcycle has ruled the open class sportbike roost with nearly non-stop magazine comparison victories. Even though the 1,352-cubic-centimeter Ninja ZX-14 won lavish praise for its massive torque, effortless power, agile handling and comfortable ergonomics, Kawasaki engineers were not willing to leave the door open to potential challengers. The 2008 ZX-14 retains all the great features that made it a legend, plus more bottom-, mid- and top-end power. Changes to the engine and exhaust system allow it to comply with strict Euro-III emissions and tightening noise regulations. To meet noise standards, the engineers focused on reducing internal mechanical noise instead of muzzling the exhaust system. The result wasn?t a power loss, but an overall improvement of the engine character and an actual increase in the ZX-14?s legendary peak power! Yes, you read that correctly. Emissions and noise levels are lower, peak power is higher, the mid-range hit is stronger and smoother and low-end torque has been increased. A win-win solution for all, in our books.
