2008 Kawasaki KLE 650cc Versys parallel twin motorcycle. I am the 2nd owner. I purchased the Versys in 2012 from the original owner in Boston. Voted 2008 motorcycle of the year by Motorcyclist Magazine, and Best in Class by Motor Cycle News, this is quite possibly the best all-round motorcycle you can buy. The chassis based on the Ninja 650R, with long travel suspension, 17" rims and has 64hp @ 8000 RPM. Enjoy low operating costs (48-50 MPG hwy) and insurance costs when compared to a sport bike, as well as, increased comfort and utility! The motorcycle has 13,924 miles on it, and has been kept in a heated garage all its life. All maintenance has been done at the proper intervals, and the bike has been upgraded with more than $3000 worth of parts. The upgrades list includes: - High-performance Pirelli "Angels" tires with about 4000 miles on them (These are a great improvement over the stock tires) - Kawasaki low gel seat. (Stock seat included) - Motorworks lowing-link kit - Full Hepco & Becker crash bars - Full stainless steel brake lines (greatly improve brake feel and performance) - Barkbusters hand guards - V-stream windshield - Rear seat bag (had bag, body color) - Givi hard bag mounting system and Saddlebags - Dirt-bike style aluminum footpegs (better grip and more foot-space than stock) - Swingarm sliders/rear spools - Bigfoot kickstand (never worry about the bike falling over on gravel or hot asphalt) - Z1000 Mirrors (eliminate vibration and provide better overall visibility) Put simply, this is a great motorcycle that has been upgraded to be even better. The perfect weekend tourer/city sport-bike/commuter, these motorcycles are even capable of light off-roading (gravel, fireroads, etc.) although a different tire tread would be recommended for such use. The bike does have a dent in the fuel tank from when the previous owner had a construction worker drop a ladder on the bike while parked in the city, but the paint is not chipped. I've tried to show the dent as best as possible in the pictures. According to NADA average retail is $5000 and KBB's valuation is $4500 with the additional equipment. I am asking $4000 obo which includes an extra set of front brake pads, a rear hugger, motorcycle cover, and any other items I may have for the bike. 2012 Kawasaki Nomad , 2012 Nomad VN 1700 cc, 3750 miles. Many extras including Cobra tri oval exhaust,miso grips, hi way pegs, chrome luggage rack with travel bag, front leather tool bag, etc. also wired with battery tender and cigarette plug adapter.
