This is a well maintained 2008 Kawasaki KLR 650 that has been mechanic owned and had a great many upgrades to increase the quality of the bike all around in just the right places. This bike just passed Virginia Inspection last month as well, has had the oil changed religiously every 1,500mi, and has 34,901 miles on it. This bike has a large stock 6.1 gallon gas tank for long range riding between top offs. The total cost of aftermarket parts is over $4,000 if buying new. All aftermarket components are top shelf and you can look them up online to read about them. This bike has a great view advantage when riding in traffic around town as well. The list of aftermarket and spare parts included in price are as follows…- Front/Rear Ricor Suspension upgrade with added quick spring tension adjuster for when riding 2-up or loaded down with luggage. This completely changed the riding dynamics of the bike. It no longer lunges forward/backwards during acceleration/stopping. The kick stand is now usable when loaded down with luggage. The ride down rough roads is actually smoother and with better traction thanks to the inertia activated valving.- Russell Day-Long seat w/back rest for those who like to ride all day without any pain.- Rekluse auto-clutch for easy off-roading and stop/go traffic. (You still have to use the clutch to change gears.) You just get the perfect clutch release every time. Allowing a rider to focus on throttle/braking and the road ahead.- Jesse Odyssey Hard Aluminum saddle bags.- Ultra-Bright LED tail light that flashes when brake is first applied. Increasing safety considerably.- Pro-Taper handle bars, Bark-Buster hand guards, Ram GPS mount, 2 aftermarket windshields, Crash Bars w/hwy pegs, Aluminum skid plate, center stand, 12V outlet, Heat-Troller w/like new gloves and jacket liner, soft saddle bags for when off-roading, like-new Large helmet, thermo-bob & doohickey upgrades(for drastically more engine longevity), headlight guard, solid-state military grade battery, throttle locker, valve shim adjustment puck kit, spare rear tire, several chain/sprocket sets(some for hwy and some for off-road), a maintenance manual, and some other old riding gear you can pick through.
