I have for sale a original 72 Kawasaki H1 500. It runs and drives need some attention like the front brake master cylinder needs to rebuilt and missing speedo cable don't know if the speedo works or not. It starts usually 1-3 kick and I drove it down my street and it goes through all the gears. It it hasn't be registered since 1983 and has been in a garage all that time . I rebuilt the carbs , new fuel lines ,spark plugs petcock and install new head gaskets. I have the title in hand and it looks as good as the picture. It has over 14,000 miles so it may be time for a rebuild.These are hard to come by not basket cases or totally restored. Every thing works lights, turn signals, horn , tach and brake lights. I believe it may have the original tires , K77 and K78 Dunlap gold seal.Ask any questions and I will try to answer to best knowledge. ABS The windshield was replaced with an OEM Kawasaki tall windshield. The clarity of the windshield is perfect and easy to see thru. The tires are Dunlop Sportmax Road Smart II. They have about 3000 miles on them, most of which are from my Denver trip. The front brake pads were changed at the same time to EBC Sintered HH pads. With the ABS, these stop the bike incredibly fast!! It also has a Throttle Meister cruise control. It is more a hand rest as compared to an automobile cruise. It works great and allows you to rest your right hand while driving. Just remember to loosen it up in traffic ;-) The tire pressure monitors are currently out and the batteries are dead. I do have new batteries, but have not got around to replacing them. I did not rely on this system much as I would rather check them manually before each trip. All fluids have been changed out at least once and the oil will be changed in the next week or so. I replaced the battery with a Yuasa YTX14-BS about 2 months ago. There is a power port in the dash so you can charge your phone. This was very helpful when using the phone as a GPS on the trips. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me Thanks Delivery??
