1998 Kawasaki Kz 1000 POLICE, A Police KZ in very good condition and low miles. In service by PD's across the country from the mid 1970's through 2005 due to their outstanding performance, handling, comfort, dependability and high speed. A five speed, effortless shifting transmission allows for smooth shifting up and down. Recent upgrades include: new battery, front tire, windshield, rebuilt starter, chromed outer engine covers, full carburation cleaning and sincrenization, aftermarket sound system that features AM/FM, I-Pod, I-Phone & I-Pad use exiting through dual 6" Kicker speakers mounted in fairing facing rider. The low center of gravity of this machine allows for incredible balance, ride and maneuverability for all size riders and the low seat allows for foot down stops even for those of shorter stature. She stops with front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, single on rear and dual discs on front. This bike offers a smooth quiet ride that allows for all day touring with no fatigue.
