This is a 33,000 mile all-original 1982 Kawasaki KZ1100 A2. Bike has been completely gone through since purchased in May 2015. It has had the following work (over 300 hours) completed: - New front springs and seals - New front and rear brakes - New wheel bearings - New Dunlop tires - New handlebars and grips - Carbs cleaned, tuned and synchronized - New carb holders (front and back side) - New front turn signals - Replaced aftermarket seat with original seat - New four into one exhaust pipes - New plug wires - New clutch kit (Kawasaki) - New clutch hub (Kawasaki) - New starter clutch - New clutch cable - Petcock repair kit - New Progressive rear shocks - Original KZ luggage rack/adjustable backrest - Original engine guard - New Kuryakyn highway pegs - New side cover emblems - Kawasaki (Vetter) Vindicator Fairing/windshield (serial number K32-100,232) NOS, bought new out of box - Tank, side cover and fairing decals custom (fairing made to copy the original Vetter striping but colored to match Kenny Lawson ELR racing version) by JH Signs in Perham, MN - Tank, side covers, fenders and fairing painted Camaro Synergy green by Select Auto in Detroit Lakes, MN. It is perfect, without a scratch or flaw in the paint. - Original owner’s manual and Kawasaki Service Manual purchased - Personalized license plate This bike has been shown twice this year, once at the June Detroit Lakes Cruise Night on the beach, once in August at the Detroit Lakes WiseGuyz Cruise Night. The bike won the award at the WiseGuyz show and it was the only motorcycle there. This bike turns heads. As stated above, it is a KZ1100 A, but it is painted and decaled like an Eddie Lawson replica version (KZ1100 R), commonly called the ELR. That fact, along with the all-original new in the box Vetter fairing painted to match make it a one-of-a-kind bike. It looks, starts, runs, and rides like new. I would love to sell this restored bike to someone who will appreciate it and take care of it. If you take the time to see this bike, you will not be disappointed.
