Bike History:Purchased by my brother back in 2005-2006. He was an avid motocross biker. The bike was ridden off and on until 2009 when he then sold it to a family friend who bought it for their son. However, the son never took to it and the bike sat dormant in their garage for the next 5 years. Seeing this as a sin against all the great potential of this bike, I purchased it back from them in 2015 with a goal to get it tuned up, ready to ride, and put it up for sale to someone who would actually use it. With the help of an awesome neighbor, who is a motorcycle guru, the bike is ready to go and starts cold with one kick! (See video: s:// /watch?v=VhLNu5L3cp0)This 100 is built to run more like a 125. Even in first gear, it wants to pop its front tire up on me (I am 6' and 170 lbs). Its powerful. Bike Condition & Specs: To be completely honest, here are a couple of things that would need attention:1- The Stock Plastics: There are cracks on one side, on the rear fender (which I have fixed with Gorilla glue adhesive), and the number plate in front. Looks like these are not too expensive on most sites and can be replaced easily.2- Service jets: If you plan to really light this bad boy up for motocross or big rides you will probably want to get the jets serviced. I am not planning on doing this while I own the bike so I have done a thorough cleaning of the jets, but have not updated them. They are still in great condition. Its just my opinion that you get them serviced if you have big plans for this bike--which I hope you do.Other than that--and the bike just being a 2003 model--the bike is in excellent condition and very CLEAN.This KX 100 has an FMF Muffler and Fatty Pipe New parts:- New Twin Air-Air filter- New Pro Taper Pillow Top Grips- New Namura Top End Rebuild Repair Kit- New Motion Pro Micro Fork Bleeders- New Fatty Pipe O-rings and Springs- New Spark Plug (Only about 5-6 total starts)Purchase Details:If desired, the bike comes with: - A pair of old ANSWER racing boots that are in good condition (Size 9)- Whatever racing oil or Air filter oil I have left- An oil-to-gas ratio mixing cup- A steel welded stand (this thing was welded by my brother and is bomb proof) I have no title paperwork on it as that has been lost through the transition of the ownership from my brother to the family friend and back. I currently do not have a way to transport the bike long distance. So, if you would like to come see it, it will have to be at a close, neutral location.Will only accept cash or money order/cashiers check in person.
