For sale is a 2009 Kawasaki KX450f. It has been converted to a supermoto and is completely street legal with a free and clear NC title and current registration. Making one of these street legal in NC is next to impossible, making this very rare. This thing is so much fun to ride. I'm selling because I'm moving across the country and will not be bringing it with me. There was a problem in the gearbox so I had to split the cases. While it was apart I installed:Wiseco High Comp 13.5:1 pistonHot Cams stage 2 Intake and Exhaust camsDynojet Power Commander VK&N high flow air filterFMF powercore 4 HEX muffler and powerbomb headerI wired up the lights, blinkers and speedo custom from the condenser to avoid the need of a battery which would take up valuable room in the airbox restricting airflow. The bike has a fairly powerful stator putting out 60w so there is room for a more powerful headlight. I was going to install the Baja designs Squadron pro led headlight. All work was done in December 2015, and it has been driven <1000 miles since.Two new Michelin Pilot Power 3s are installed on Warp 9 wheels that have been converted to tubeless.The bike runs little lean because I could not find an appropriate fuel map for the PCM due to engine modifications. It needs a dyno tune and I have not had time to do it. The closest place is in Charlotte.The dyno will read between 60-70 hp based on what others with similar modifications have gotten. That is A LOT for 245lb bike. It is an absolute beast!

Please note that the pics of the assembled bike are current and were taken for this listing. the rest of the build pics were before all the details and fabricating were done. so the motor and frame have been completely cleaned. I do have a few other details that I will need to get done before it goes to its new owner. like the chain and fuel line and fresh fluids. Well this should be pretty self explanatory if you're looking at this bike,then you already know all about the 500. I have done all the fabrication work on this bike myself ,I've done a lot of R&D to make sure this will be one of if not the strongest conversions out there. there are no wacky parts from a bunch of other bikes. the only thing not kx450 if the motor, carb, electronics and the boot that goes from the airbox to the carb. it uses the factory 450 radiators in the stock location so all your plastics will line up just like they are suppose to. the motor I believe is an 01, 500 motor. it was recently rebuilt and rechromed not sleeved. this is by far one of the strongest running 500's ive ever owned, and I've owned a lot of them. I am willing to consider trades ,I will also sell as a rolling chassis minus the motor , electronics, and carb. everything else including the exhaust will go with the rolling chassis. feel free to call or text me at 608-346-4015 or email through ebay. thank you John
