2007 Kawasaki Klr 650, I am selling my 2007 Kawasaki KLR650 Dual Sport, asking $3500. I am a professional motorcycle mechanic, this was my personal ride, set up, worked out, and ridden by me. Its replacement is a KTM950. Front suspension has Progressive springs, Race Tech Gold valve cartridge emulators, and EBC Oversize brake rotor. Controls include Tag oversize bars, Acerbis Multi-Plo Handguards (note the handmade inner mounts), grip heaters (switch on dash panel), cruise control (nearly hidden), extended shift lever (for size 12 boots), KTM offroad footpegs. Cases are custom made from the outer half of a BMW Vario expanding case,(getting the good BMW latch assembly), with the inner half of welded aluminum. Racks are welded from 1/2" steel tubing, covered with fuel hose to bring it up to 3/4" allowing the Happy Trails retainers to be used. These have many off road miles without problems, and come off in seconds with a 12 mm wrench. Taillight is aftermarket LED programmable, turn signals are custom (48 Chevy!) LED. Exhaust is FMF Titanium muffler from KTM 525, midpipe extends muffler to rear of bike, preventing soot buildup. Subframe has been welded and gusseted to accomodate heavy luggage and camping gear. Aluminum skid pan. Doohickey (balancer chain tensioner) has been upgraded. Fuel tank is seven gallon IMS (also stock tank). Windshield is stock, with custom extension and bag (removable in minutes). Mirrors are offroad flexible type. New parts on bike include oil and filter, front brake pads, battery, chain and sprockets. Air filter is clean and oiled, includes new spare. Tires are fair, would need new tires and fuel if one wanted to ride to South America! $3,500.00
