I bought the KLR from the original owner in 2010, and planned to ride it for a long long time, hence all the options. A good friend is offering me the deal of a lifetime on his GS, so sadly I have to sell the KLR. I've ridden it to Colorado on highways and backroads, on dirt tracks, in the woods, and all kinds of places. Details include: -Completed Doohickey fix (expensive) -15k service done ($500+) -Custom Rick Mayers seat -Givi sidebags -JC Whitney top case -KLR crossbar bag -Switcher alternator box w/Garmin Nuvi GPS -New sprockets & chain (6-8 weeks ago) -Beefy JNS skidplate -Kenda tires -Taller Kawasaki windshield -Doesn't burn oil -Most maintenance paperwork -Ebony grips (first thing I did) Bike has around 16.6k miles, and a cracked right side lower fairing from when I dropped it in the rain. I've dropped it in the dirt too. It's been taken care of, but not a polished garage queen - KLRs are meant to be ridden. If you want to pay more for a garage queen then a bunch more for all the options I have it's your choice. :) I have three selling options: -$3400: just the bike (no GPS, KLR bag, top case, or side bags) -$3699: as shown with the GPS, KLR bag, top case & side bags -$4000: all the above, plus the cracked lower fairing replaced new I live in the Crystal Lake/Cary area, and can show in the evenings or weekend.
