2009 KAWASAKI KLR650, ONLY 1,918 MILES! Want an easy, non intimidating do it all dual sport? The KLR has grown itself a cult following for being the mule of the dual sport world. It will take anything you ask of it and come back for more every time. These bikes are perfect for trail riding, gravel road exploring, even traveling with the right bags mounted (like this one has). It will make a great bike for you, whether you want to commute, explore in the woods, or ride to Alaska! This 2009 has only 1,900 miles on it, practically brand new! The previous owner invested in the Caribou Panniers and super solid mounts. These bags are just about bullet-proof and will take tons of abuse. They are also completely waterproof. Sealed so tight, Caribou had to put a pressure release valve on them so they won't expand or compress with changes in altitude! The bags also lock to keep your stuff safe and they lock securely to the bike. Once unlocked, they can be removed in seconds when not needed. There is also a lowering link installed in the rear suspension, lowering the bike an inch or so, making it a little easier to touch the ground and the factory stickers have been removed, giving it a sleek look with the black plastics. If you don't want the lowering link, the rear suspension can easily be converted back to factory height with the stock link. The bike is in great shape and has been taken care of, It appears to have been stored inside when not being ridden and fires up with the press of a button every time. Tires have tread left, with a little more wear on the rear than the front, and there are a few very light scratches on the plastics from riding in the woods. The full factory tool kit is included and stored on board as well as two factory cut keys and a key for the Caribou bags. There isn't any obvious evidence of the bike ever being wrecked, dropped, or abused. If you are ready for adventure this is the bike for you, it will open up a whole new world of motorcycling! When you come in to check it out w'ell share some good dual sport routes with you, we have some serious off road riders working here, including our owner.
