The liquid-cooled, 271cc single-cylinder, four-stroke engine provides useful, yet fun power and torque from a low rpm thanks to precise engine tuning. The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with centrifugal clutch offers responsive performance, useful engine braking, and a smooth transfer of torque to make it easy to ride in varied conditions. Special Maxxis® tires were developed jointly with Kawasaki. They offer an ideal combination of grip and durability, and contribute to 9.4 inches of ground clearance for tackling obstacles. STYLING A wide stance and broad-shoulder styling resemble the Brute Force® 750, making this compact ATV as brag-worthy as its bigger brother. Intelligent bodywork design and full coverage floor boards offer excellent protection from mud and foliage.
