Redesigning Fun The all-new sporty design of the Versys 650 balances style, wind protection, aerodynamics and heat management to provide an exciting, comfortable ride. The upright seating position is relaxed, while the wide handlebar makes initiating turns easier. The horizontal dual headlamps are also new for this year to enhance style and improve visibility. Engine The 651cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, parallel-twin engine pumps out strong low- to mid-range torque that is usable, fun, and responsive on most any road. Tuned for versatile performace, the compact parallel-twin is a thrill to ride across town or across state lines. And revised Digital Fuel Injection (DFI®) helps to improve fuel economy for even longer adventures. Wheels & Tires The Versys 650 ABS / LT can respectably lean into the corners in true sportbike fashion, or tour for hours on your favorite back roads thanks to sporty 17-inch wheels cradled in new front and rear tires that provide greater traction under a variety of conditions including wet pavement. Full Instrumentation The instrument cluster of the new Versys 650 models is equipped with a digital analog tachometer, fuel gauge, odometer, speedometer and ECO icon to let riders know when they re getting the best fuel economy. Enhanced Adjustability Both Versys 650 models have a larger windscreen than the previous model year for added wind protection. Plus the all-new windscreen is fully adjustable no tools required. For further comfort during long highway cruises, the footpegs on the Versys 650 have been moved lower and further forward. Suspension Both Versys 650 models are equipped with long-travel front suspension for a glued-to-the-road feel on winding, uneven roads. Also, the rear shock is now equipped with a remote preload adjuster for quick and easy adjustment based on cargo or preference.
