VERY VERY RARE INDIAN CHIEF 340B, INDIAN ONLY MADE 344 OF THESE AND MOST OF THEM WERE SHIPPED TO BELGIUM OR FRANCE BEFORE THE USA GOT INVOLVED IN THE WAR. Restored by Robin Markey at Bob's Indian Sales & Service in Etters, Pennsylvania; a nationally renowned Indian restoration shop Military edition Matching numbers Engine number CD0929B Frame number 340929 NO EXPENSES WERE SPARED, COMES WITH THE GUN SCABBARD, LEATHER SADDLEBAGS, REBUILT SPEEDOMETER, VERY NICE SHOW QUALITY BIKE! ONLY ONE OF THE CHIEF MILITARY BIKES WE'VE EVER SEEN! MOST OF THE MILITARY INDIANS WERE SCOUTS 741 MODELS & 841 MODELS. GREAT ONE TO HOLD ON TO & SHOW OFF! GUESS THE 1200 MOTOR WAS A LITTLE TOO LARGE FOR MOST MESSENGERS (MOST OF THE MESSENGERS LEARNED TO RIDE A MOTORCYCLE IN THE SERVICE).
