Stand out from the crowd with this beautiful Indian Chief 'Vintage'...! I am the original owner and principal Chassis Engineer who designed several component parts and sub-systems on these fine machines. This motorcycle has been ridden sparingly as it has been preserved as a family heirloom however extenuating circumstances dictate this sale. A new AGM battery was installed in June and NC safety inspection completed in August. A factory Stage II ECU, 'free-flowing' muffler assy. (w/o baffles) and K&N air filter are currently installed resulting in increased torque & horsepower over the entire RPM range. The exhaust system now sounds much better than a stock system with a deep & throaty note that's not too obnoxious. Note, this Stage II ECU was properly developed and fully tested by my factory research & development team however due to the pending acquisition by Polaris Ind. in 2010/11, it was not commercialized for sale in the retail market. The original ECU, muffler & air cleaner can be easily re-installed without the need for special tools. All original 'take-off' parts are included along with a pillion pad (not shown), quick-detach/locking windshield, high-quality Indian bike cover, owner's kit and associated documentation. The original ECU, muffler assy. & air filter are also included.
