Their GT250R looks like a larger bike because, unlike most other manufacturers, Hyosung does not make their 250 on a 3/4 scale, it's almost exactly like their 650. Most people buy a 250 as a starter bike, to play with and get comfortable before moving up to a bigger bike (usually a 600 or 650). What sense does it make to learn and get comfy with a 3/4 size bike? Better to learn on a bike that will give you a real sense of what it's like to handle the size and weight of the bike you want to eventually ride, rather than giving you a false sense of security with something scaled back. Another nice feature of the GT250R is that it's transmission has been geared so that, unlike the competition, when riding this bike on the highway at 70 mph it is not screaming because the engine RPMs are too high, it has been setup for more real world riding.
