2012 HUSQVARNA TE 511 (ONLY 280 MILES ON IT !! - May go up with weekend test rides) Run's perfect....fires up immediately....awesome clutch & brake control...incredible engine RECENT UPDATES: * Race Map 3 (Re-programmed ECU and jumper wire for true Race Map III maximum engine performance) If you check online you will find that the Husqvarna comes from the factory very lean to pass emissions…you can add a jumper to a plug under the seat that will richen fuel supply and the display will show Race Map II, you can also send the ECU to ZipTy racing and they will reprogram the ECU to a Race Map III program. I did this along with keeping the jumper in pace for maximum performance - the display shows Race Map II indicating jumper in place. Now the bike is super smooth, no flame outs and can pull the front wheel in 3rd gear. * Pro Bend Hand Guards installed - New installed 2 months ago replacing factory hand guards that looked OK but could easily collapse if laid down. The Pro Bends are aluminum braced and connected to bar at ends and near center for great hand protection. * ZipTy Racing Oil re-circulation kit installed - The TE 449 and TE511's are known for spewing oil into the airbox at higher rev's as pressure blow by in the crankcase - most riders run a lower oil level to avoid this or just live with the oil drips. The best solution is an oil recirculation kit from ZipTy Racing that allows you to run a higher level of oil keeping gear shifting smooth as well as cooler engine temps. * Lowered rear suspension 1" - AEO Powersports lowered rear suspension 1" using an internal spacer so as to not affect suspension geometry. Original height was too tall for me even after proper sag was set. I am 5' 10" and 210lbs with gear. Before I could not get both boots to touch the ground…now I can touch both boots - not flat footed but good on the tips. * Stainless Steel re-useable oil filter - installed last oil change just 85 miles ago. * Touratech bar risers 1" - positions bars for better more comfortable riding position. * Takasago Excel rims Front and back - high end quality rims. * Flush mount Rear Blinkers - The factory position of the rear blinkers is not ideal for off-road use. One of the original blinkers was knocked of factory mount by original owner right after he got the bike. This common concern was corrected with a bracket that re-positions the blinkers to be more in-line with the rear fender. This bike was made when BMW still owned Husqvarna so many of the engine parts/consumables can be bought through BMW since it is similar to a BMW G450X.
