2016 Husqvarna TE 300, 2016 Husqvarna® TE 300 EXTREME ENDURO PERFORMANCE TO TAKE ON ANY TERRAIN The 300 cc engine puts out 54 hp, and with an overall weight of just 104.6 kg without fuel, the TE 300 combines extreme performance and solid reliability, with typically low 2-stroke maintenance costs. The astonishing performance potential is easily accessible thanks to the updated forks, modified front-end geometry and revised shock setup. The power is confidently controlled through the new Brembo hydraulic clutch and smooth 6-speed gearbox. Premium components and equipment include electric and kick start, standard handlebar map switch, Brembo brake calipers and the largest capacity fuel tank in the competition enduro segment. Features May Include: ENGINE With a 54 hp power output, the TE 300 is the most powerful 2-stroke engine available today. The engine features a sophisticated exhaust valve that optimises power delivery and, combined with the Boyesen reed valve, offers excellent response and durability. STANDARD MAP SWITCH The engine characteristics can be tailored thanks to the standard map switch that modifies the CDI curve between two ignition curves according to rider preference, conditions and terrain. Further optimisation of the power delivery can be obtained by varying the spring stiffness in the exhaust valve. NEW BREMBO HYDRAULIC CLUTCH The TE 300 now features a new Brembo hydraulic clutch system. The high quality clutch system guarantees perfect modulation of the clutch in every condition. This means that the play is constantly compensated so that the pressure point and the function of the clutch remain identical in cold or hot conditions and over time. The Brembo clutch also features even wear characteristics and is nearly maintenance-free. ELECTRIC AND KICK START Standard electric start ensures effortless and reliable starting that is especially useful in difficult terrain. The TE 250 and TE 300 2-strokes have both an electric and a kick starter as standard. PERFECT ERGONOMICS Ergonomics play a major role in rider feeling and confidence, so the handlebar can be adjusted in 4 different positions to adapt to a wide variety of riders. The stylish and modern bodywork has been designed for a perfect fit of man and machine, allowing for total control in all conditions for the most diverse body sizes. The new seat cover is highly resistant and greatly improves grip compared to the previous material. The colour is now a deep blue that integrates perfectly with the new colour of the bodywork. NEW FRONT AXLE AND FORK SHOES Detail improvements and optimisation on the MY16 enduro bikes are based on the updated front end where a new 22 mm front axle with specific fork shoes replaces the previous 26 mm axle.
