A new shaft arrangement improves mass centralisation, along with a counter-balancer shaft to reduce vibration. A new 38mm flat-slide MIKUNI TMX carburator is more resistant to altitude and temperature changes, requiring less-frequent adjustment than previous carbs. The new electric starter unit is located within the engine casings, keeping it secure from impacts. It is now linked to a lightweight and powerful Li- Ion battery for reliable starting when you need it most.

The 2017 2-stroke models all have a light new fuel tank made of translucent plastic for easy fuel level monitoring. I have a 04 Husqvarna TE450 with Supermoto street legal conversion. Bike has warp9 wheels and hubs. High performance Keihin 41mm FCR carb (runs amazing), full Doma exhaust (sounds wicked), full electric start, Striker kit. Fresh oil change new filters and tires have 80% life left. Clean clear street legal title. Chain and sprockets are in great shape and cleaned regularly. Come with the stock excel wheels that also has street tires on which you could put off-road tires on and be ready to hit trails. All lights work, headlight has low and high beam. This bike has 6 speed not 5 so it does good at highway speeds. Brembo real caliper and master cylinder, also has full hydraulic clutch which is super smooth. If interested come take a look in person.
