This bike has BRAND new front and rear knobby tires... NICE aluminum rims...No tears in the seat... Nice dirt bike overall.. Definitely Quick..!!! 2 stroke water cooled engine...Had the guys at the local dirt bike shop check it out when the tires were put on, they liked it..!! They race...Disc brake works fine...I had a tune up done recently...Runs Strong... Pink slip in hand, I don't have any registration papers...just a signed Pink Slip... It also has a California "Off Road" sticker good until June of 2016I have the original owners manual for this bike.Bike is Free and Clear..ready to sell. 6 speed...shifts great...front end comes up really easy... quick shifting monster....no problems there...I live on a ranch, and have a number of large hills, it absolutely ripped up them...I had to back off it...seriously... Buyer pays for any and all delivery or shipping charges...I can help out... but you need to arrange and pay for it.. Bike is sold in "AS IS" condition... Steve McQueen's very first Husqvarna. This bike was originally raced by Motocross World Champion Bengt Aberg. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bengt_%C3%85berg I was told by former owner that McQueen went to Santa Cruz, CA to watch a MX race and after Bengt Aberg won the race McQueen bought the bike on the spot. Up to that point McQueen had been racing Triumphs, but this bike here for sale would change that. This bike started his passion for the Husqvarna brand, as you may have seen him riding them on the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine, in the movie On Any Sunday, and several other publications and pictures easily found online. McQueen helped Husqvarna become the huge success it was during the late 60's and early 70's. So this bike is very special and unique. He may have had many motorcycles, but none has the history and importance of this one. All paperwork proving it's provenance, related to both Steve McQueen and Bengt Aberg is part of this sale.
