This is a rare 1957 Husqvarna Model 32 Sport 120cc 3-SpeedAs you can see by some of the"before" pictures it was quite the mess. This bike is not restored but brought back to life. I put my own spin on several items especially since they are rare and hard to find. The fenders are original but re-chromed along with several other items. New tire & tubes. The spokes are stainless and original along with the rims. The brake shoes were relined. The front suspension is new (rubber bands) The carburetor is original with new parts from AMAL. The handle bars,controls, cables are all new. The seat has the original body trim attached to wood just like it was originally but I chose to have a black seat cover made versus the original salmon color.The chain is new and the sprockets are in excellent shape but not NOS.The ignition cover is custom made from aluminum with the crown emblem CNC machined. The ignition is a Motoplat Mini 6 with lighting. The original points system was missing several key items and I again chose to use an electronic ignition. The headlight switch is original but it's now the kill button/Headlight On-Off switch. The tank is not original,the stock one was completely gone so I used a 1973 Husqvarna tank and modified it. It looks close but not exact. The frame it's self looks good it the pictures but it is pitted. It was sand blasted, sanded, primed & painted. I am not sure how this bike came to the USA since Husqvarna was not imported into America until the late 1960's I will post the frame number later! This wonderful machine won an award at the AMA Vintage Days 2016 as the "Best European" and when I fired it up and rode away it was even better than winning the award! I do have a clip of it running so I will post that as well later.
