2017 Husqvarna TE 250, 2017 Husqvarna® TE 250 ENDURO REDEFINED The TE 250 takes the simple, low-maintenance motor concept that is a proven favourite of enduro riders, and progresses it with modern technological advancements. The combination of class-leading power and modern lightweight construction just got massively better for 2017. A new shaft arrangement improves mass centralisation, along with a counter-balancer shaft to reduce vibration. A new 38mm flat-slide MIKUNI TMX carburator is more resistant to altitude and temperature changes, requiring less-frequent adjustment than previous carbs. The new electric starter unit is located within the engine casings, keeping it secure from impacts. It is now linked to a lightweight and powerful Li- Ion battery for reliable starting when you need it most. Features may include: Engine Featuring the very latest in 2-stroke technology, the TE 250 engine has a completely new construction featuring new shaft arrangements for better mass centralisation, a new counter balancer shaft reducing vibration, a new twin-valve controlled power valve and re-worked 6-speed enduro gearbox. Cylinder The 66.4mm bore cylinder features a newly developed power valve system which delivers smooth and controlled power throughout the RPM range. This can be further customised by simply changing between three springs supplied and altering the power delivery for different conditions and rider preference. Counter-balancer The new engine design allows for the implementation of a laterally mounted counter balancer. The balancer is integrated in a very compact way and significantly reduces vibrations resulting in a smoother and more comfortable ride. Crankcase The lightweight, die-cast engine casings are developed to accommodate new shaft arrangements. The clutch shaft is now 8mm higher while the crankshaft position is 27mm higher centralising oscillating mass and improving ride-ability. Functional bodywork Distinctive and futuristic bodywork highlight the impressive leap forward for MY17, while striking pearl blue and electric yellow colours and graphics stylishly adorn the Swedish inspired design. With completely new ergonomics, rider control and comfort are improved allowing the rider to perform at the peak for longer periods of time. The seat has a low profile design with a new high grip seat cover which keeps the rider planted under hard acceleration and in slippery conditions. Map select switch The engine characteristics can be tailored thanks to the standard map switch that modifies the CDI curve between two ignition curves according to rider preference, conditions and terrain. Further optimisation of the power delivery can be obtained by varying the spring stiffness in the exhaust valve. Self cleaning footpeg mount The Husqvarn

2017 Husqvarna FC 250, 2017 Husqvarna® FC 250 RAZOR-SHARP AGILITY The 250cc DOHC engine has been designed in conjunction with the chassis to operate in perfect harmony. All internal components have been engineered to deliver the maximum performance and packaged in order to position the engine at the ideal centre of gravity within the chromoly steel frame. In combination with the carbon fibre rear subframe and new WP AER 48 front fork, the FC 250 is one of the most technologically advanced 250 4T motocrossers ever developed. Features may include: Engine All major components and shaft arrangements have been carefully designed and placed in specific positions that best suit the performance and handling characteristics of the FC 250. The 250 cc engine is not only light at 26.1 kg but also remarkably powerful with an overall power output of 46 hp at the output shaft. One way in which this was achieved was by engineering key components to produce the least amount of friction possible, reducing drag as a result. DOHC cylinder head The DOHC cylinder head features finger followers with a DLC (diamond like carbon) coating resulting in minimal friction and optimal performance. These actuate large titanium valves (32.5 mm intake, 26.5 mm exhaust) which at the 14,000 rpm rev-limit open and close multiple times each second introducing fuel/air mixture to the carefully designed combustion chamber delivering efficient and optimal power throughout the rev-range. The cylinder head is now fixed to the frame using lightweight aluminium brackets saving 114 grams while keeping the same structural integrity. Crankcases The aluminium crankcases have been designed to house the internal components of the engine in the perfect position to achieve the ideal centre of gravity. The lightweight casings are manufactured using a high-pressure die cast production process, resulting in thin wall thickness while retaining exceptional reliability. The iconic Husqvarna logo adorns the bronze finished crankcase covers. Exhaust system The FC 250 exhaust system has been expertly designed to deliver the best possible performance while adhering to the FIM noise limits. The header pipe features a resonance chambers for optimal performance while the silencer is crafted from lightweight and strong aluminium. Magura hydraulic clutch The FC 250 features a Magura hydraulic clutch system. The high quality German-made clutch system guarantees even wear, almost maintenance-free operation and perfect modulation in every condition. This means that play is constantly compensated so that the pressure point and function of the clutch remain identical in cold or hot conditions, as well as over time. CSS clutch The 250 cc and 350 cc engines feature a CSS (coil spring steel) clutch with Magura hydraulics and lever. The CSS clutch has six coil springs and 7 clutch plates in a one-

2015 Husqvarna FC 250, 2015 Husqvarna® FC 250 HIGH TECH RACE WEAPON An exhilarating, high-revving power delivery and a lightweight and agile chassis, make the FC 250 a true contender in 250 4-stroke racing at all levels worldwide. The 14,000 RPM rev limit and peak power at well over 40 horsepower are benchmark performance figures. High quality standard equipment includes electric start, a hydraulic clutch, Brembo brakes and a handlebar-mounted map switch. Features May Include: ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM The electronic fuel injection and 44mm throttle body of the Keihin Engine Management System on the 4-stroke models, combine to offer amazing power delivery and efficiency at all engine speeds. The injector was positioned on the bottom of the inlet tract for optimal air-fuel mixture, resulting in crisp throttle response and class-leading power. ENGINE Technologically advanced solutions in engine layout and components ensure explosive engine performance. The lightweight and compact DOHC 4-stroke engine has been designed to offer top performance without compromise. The large titanium valves (32.5mm intake and 26.5mm exhaust) weigh only 19.6g each on the intake side and 18g on the exhaust side. CRANKSHAFT, CONROD AND PISTON The high revving 250cc engine demands high-tech and reliable engine components. The crankshaft features a plain big end bearing and force-fitted bearing shells, ensuring durability and long service intervals. The conrod and crankshaft are produced by industry leader Pankl to exacting standards. The piston is produced by König and has been designed for minimum weight to suit the high-revving, high output nature of the FC 250. The forged box-type piston weighs only 200g and combines high performance and reliability, and guarantees a compression ratio of 13.9:1 for maximum power output. FRAME The engineers in Research and Development had clear objectives in terms of torsional rigidity, longitudinal stiffness and weight. The goal was to give the rider optimal feedback and complete confidence in every situation. This was achieved by designing the lightweight chromium molybdenum frame with precise longitudinal flex that helps absorb impacts from the rear wheel, working together with the suspension for better comfort and greater feedback. The torsional rigidity enhances turn-in, sharp handling and stability even on the roughest terrain, giving the rider complete confidence in finding his lines and increasing his pace lap after lap. SUBFRAME The lightweight polyamide rear subframe has been reinforced with an additional screw on the airbox side that improves the fitment between the left subframe arm and the airbox. The improved seal guarantees better performance and durability. The three-piece composite subframe, made of high strength polyamide with a precision injectio
