2001 XR 650R DIRT BIKE FOR SALE. This bike has super low miles/hours. I bought it from a Honda shop on Long Island in 2004, where they had bought it back from its original buyer--with the original rear tire still with tread. Since then I have ridden it on local trails maybe 5 times a year for an hour or two each ride. In recent years I have ridden it once or twice a year. I'm gettin' old! I had the carb rebuilt ($180) at a local Honda shop in preparation for sale. The bike runs awesome. I have "uncorked" it, rejetted, took out intake restrictions as well as exhaust baffle. I have changed oil meticulously. This bike is super fast and powerful, and just want to say, is not for beginner riders. I do not have a title but do have the original buyer's registration as well as my original bill of sale from the Honda shop in 2004. The bike is not street legal. I have some extras which include a new chain still in the box and a new heavy duty rear tube still in the box. Serious inquiries only, please.
