2007 Honda VTX 1300cc Sport Touring motorcycle - 22K miles. $5,500. As a lifetime bike rider, I know this one has it all. I have enjoyed its maintenance-free design for two years, and would not part with it, except I am moving out of country. Here are the bike's great features, • The powerful 1300 cc engine has all the strength to ride at highway speeds all day for one or two riders. But it is also my "ride to work" bike. • The twin cam engine has virtually zero vibrations - not like those shaking Harleys at three times the price - yet custom Vance & Hines twin "shortie" pipes have a sweet low rumble. • The bike has a shaft drive mechanism - no oily chain to lubricate, no belt to break, no unit to "stretch" to have to adjust anything ever. • The engine is water cooled with a radiator like a car, with self-adjusting valves. It stays so cool you can put your hand on the cylinder head. Unlike air-cooled engines that crank out damaging heat, these engines last as long as cars. 22K miles is just a start. • Add on features include ProCycle custom air cleaner, crash bar with rider pegs, palm pad throttle control, saddle bags, windshield, leather gas tank cover with wallet/cell phone holder, passenger pegs with back rest, green/blue LED accent frame lights for snazzy night riding, tool kit, and even two sets of keys. This unit has no issues or blemishes in or out, and is ready to tour tomorrow . . . at 43 mpg! (Liability insurance $125 per year!) • I had it recently serviced because I hoped to take it overseas - fresh oil change, carburetor check, new battery. No fluid leaks anywhere. • The green color is "one-of-a-kind" and it has TONS of chrome - never dropped, never bumped, never scratched, always garaged, so reliable never been in the shop.
