1982 Honda Silver Wing GL500, First of all... whether you want a bike for just crusing or you need a bike for a commuter... this bike is one of the most dependable bikes made, as it is made to last as it is stated in the brochure it came with and it's proven past history of dependablity. I have the clean title in hand ready to sell. This bike is in excellent running order. Maintained with new oil change, newer battery, new air cleaner and all other fluids are fine. Bike starts everytime, idles properly, runs smooth. Electrical system is all in working order. Lights ,signals, horn, guages, etc. Kickstand is fine, as well as the center stand. Worth mentioning,as it might be an issue for some, but it is quite easy to put on the center stand. There are no leaks and it does not burn oil. The front and rear air ride holds perfect pressure. No dents in gas tank. All of the latches for the luggage work including lock cylinders. Great price for a great running dependable bike and the nice cruising weather is here ~ Overall condition is very good. Mufflers have no holes. Wheels and tires are in great condition. Nice honest bike. Rare and hard to find bike in this nearly perfect running bike and condition. Silverwings are quite unique and are known to run 95k or more. With 32k this one has plenty of life left in it. Great for touring. Always garaged and very easy bike to ride. The only reason I am selling it is because I am moving. $2,490.00 2069627946

Starting college soon so I'm selling my '82 Honda Silverwing. Previously owned by a Honda mechanic, its been well maintained. I just recently took the bike in and had it rebuilt, new gaskets all throughout the engine. Fork seals just replaced. New alternator. New brakes. New battery. Painted the frame and wheels and took the fenders and tank to a body shop to get done. Its got Harley sportster mufflers on it giving it a nice tone. New tires as well. Two small issues: Forks leak a little (not a big issue) Small dent in tank from when it was removed from the bike. I have parts: Set of various gaskets Brake pads Clymer manual detailing how to fix and maintain the bike.
