This bike is a 1982 GL500i Interstate SilverWing model with 21,700 miles. It has always been stored inside year around. Water cooled, shaft driven and comes with bags, trunk, back seat and backrest for the passenger. It runs great, and is in great shape considering the age. It has the normal dings, and only damage is a couple of scuffs on the right hand side of the fairing and a crack inside at the bottom. Crack has been there for years and never gotten worse. The tach stopped working a couple of years ago and I never got around to fixing it. The cable doesn’t turn, so I believe it is the cable drive gear. I have owned this bike for almost 15 years and had no major problems. I never rode it very much each year, and even lees the last couple, so it is time to sell. It was repainted before I purchased the bike. Paint job is not professional and stuck well for all these years. Battery is a couple of years old. Tires are in the 50% range. Great older bike ready to ride, or would be easy to restore.
