Honda GL650 SilverWing 1983 – Very Nice and Reliable Bike This is a very nice GL650 all original paint on both Frame and Body work. I’ve been through everything on this bike and it’s ready to go. I’ve had several of this model bike and know them well and they are are my favorite bike of all time. They are big enough to travel all day on the interstate yet still light enough to take on dirt wagon trails though the smokie mountains. (Not something I’d do on my GoldWings) I’ve put new seals and fluid in the front forks, installed new timing chain and upgraded the chain tensioner, removed the prolink suspension and cleaned and lubed all fittings. I installed a brand new front tire and the rear has full tread too. The wiring harness is in perfect condition and everything works great. I went through this bike to make it a long distance rider for myself and specifically ride up to Tennessee and leave it at my parent’s house there so I could fly in and ride. However, due to their recent health problems they are moving to Florida. (In the past I’ve left a 500 model of this bike up there and a friend talked me into selling it to him) This bike is shaft driven so there is never a chain to lube or adjust. It has air-adjustable front and rear suspension so you can tune it to your likes. Its water cooled too. I also have the matching trunk that goes with the bike. I took this bike for a 300 mile run and it’s ready for the road. I have a clean title; price is $ 2700.00 call with any questions.
