This bike is a 1982 GL500i Interstate SilverWing model with 21,700 miles. It has always been stored inside year around. Water cooled, shaft driven and comes with bags, trunk, back seat and backrest for the passenger. It runs great, and is in great shape considering the age. It has the normal dings, and only damage is a couple of scuffs on the right hand side of the fairing and a crack inside at the bottom. Crack has been there for years and never gotten worse. The tach stopped working a couple of years ago and I never got around to fixing it. The cable doesn’t turn, so I believe it is the cable drive gear. I have owned this bike for almost 15 years and had no major problems. I never rode it very much each year, and even lees the last couple, so it is time to sell. It was repainted before I purchased the bike. Paint job is not professional and stuck well for all these years. Battery is a couple of years old. Tires are in the 50% range. Great older bike ready to ride, or would be easy to restore.

2004 Honda Silver Wing, One of the most important considerations for a maxi-scooter is rider comfort and the Silverwing does quite well in this regard. The seat is very comfortable for the driver and reasonably comfy for a passenger. The passenger seat has a reasonable amount of room. The rear seat backrest is adjustable for the passenger and works well Once you are rolling, the Silverwing is viewed as a very stable and agile bike. At higher speeds, the FSC600 offers decent wind protection and a more comforting ride that most other scooters offer. This scooter also includes both a centerstand and a side stand. Unsurprisingly, the Silverwing was Honda s fastest scooter ever, with a 0-60 mph time of 8 seconds and a top speed of 105mph (170km/hr). To achieve this, Honda designed their impressive 582cc parallel twin cylinder DACT engine. This compact workhorse put out 49.6 HP @ 7500 RPM and enjoyed an array of fancy technology. The Silverwing employed 4-valves per cylinder, liquid cooling and Honda s PGM-Fi fuel injection. Each bike goes through rigorous inspection, cleaning and examination before we feel comfortable considering it a part of our inventory and available for sale. Once we are through with our thorough inspections and cleanings and the bike has been approved for sale, we photograph it from all angles. 2004 Honda Silver Wing, Injected Twin 600cc engine!! The 600cc Silverwing (FSC600) was by far Honda s largest scooter offering. Prior to the Silverwing, Honda s largest scooter had been 250cc (Elite 250, Helix, Reflex). Unsurprisingly, the Silverwing was Honda s fastest scooter ever, with a 0-60 mph time of 8 seconds and a top speed of 105mph. I was looking through the glove box, and I found some gas receipts that showed that on a recent trip, it got over 46 MPG. To achieve this, Honda designed their impressive 582cc parallel twin cylinder DACT engine. This compact workhorse put out 49.6 HP @ 7500 RPM and enjoyed an array of fancy technology. The Silverwing employed 4-valves per cylinder, liquid cooling and Honda s PGM-Fi fuel injection. On the open road the Silverwing does quite well. It has great brakes with discs front and rear. It has a Givi aftermarket windshield that has been added to it. This one is not without flaws. At some time someone has done their own two tone paint job, lets just call it a 10 footer. There are a couple of places where the body work has been broken, and repaired. This is reflected in the price, this is the most affordable Maxi-scooter that we have in stock. It runs, and rides correctly. If you can put up with some body imperfections, this is a heck of a value!!! Each bike goes through rigorous inspection, cleaning and examination before we feel comfortable considering it a part of our inventory and available for sale.
