2003 Honda Shadow SABRE, I am selling a 2003 Honda Shadow Sabre 1100VT. This bike has never been dropped or wrecked, and has been meticulously maintained throughout it's life. It has always started right up and taken me where I want to go, in comfort and slightly brutish style. I'm pricing this a bit above book because of everything that's been done to it, to make it ready to last another 50,000 miles in another owner's hands. Here's the list of the modifications done, to make it better than it was when it came from the factory: 1. Hard Krome Stripper Exhaust - Not ridiculously loud, but enough to alert others on the road that you're there 2. Stage 1 Jet Kit - Accompanies the pipes and delivers a bit more power 3. Race Tech Front Fork Springs - Tightens up the spongy stock springs and delivers better handling performance 4. Drag Specialties Tachometer 5. National Cycle Streetliner Saddlebags 6. Palladin Backrest - Removable w/lock 7. Battery Tender w/ installed port - Added under battery cover, for easy connection 8. RamMount Phone holder - Mount included, and removable when not needed 9. Mustang Seat - A must have! 10. Aftermarket handlebar grips w/ cruise control tab 11. Aftermarket foot rests State of the wear items: 1. Front and rear brakes replaced last year 2. 2,000 miles on the tires 3. Air filter replaced / cleaned every couple years 4. Oil & filter changes per factory specs 5. Rear gear oil changed per factory specs 6. Antifreeze changed and checked regularly 7. Plug changes when oil changed 8. Barnett Clutch - last Summer 9. Brake fluid changes regularly This era of Honda Shadows require NO valve adjustments. All the maintenance required is fluids, plugs and the air filter, aside from brake pads. The bike did spend some time under cover outside, but has been garage kept for a long time now. There is some visible wear here and there (just being honest), but to this day people still want to come over and talk about it. "Is that a Harley?" Is a frequent question, because the exhaust has the "potato, potato, potato" sound and it's just a sharp looking/sounding machine. The last picture shown is the piece of cardboard I keep under the bike in my garage. No leaks ... never has. Fair offers will be considered, no trades, cash only. Local pickup only. $4,500.00
